Need help with the Prison Break-In mission in Far Cry 3? This guide covers how to sneak in, take down enemies, find the key, and rescue your friends.

Alright, so you've got a mission to break into a pirate prison. Dennis figured out that P.C. actually stands for Pirate Cove, but the locals call it Sunset Cove. Before you head in, there's a Radio Tower southwest of your objective marker. If you haven't grabbed that yet, it's a good idea to do so now. If you're approaching by water, keep an eye out for sharks if you decide to swim – they can be a nasty surprise. The objective itself is southeast of Earnhardt’s mansion, so you can fast travel there and make your way over.

Once you get to the objective marker, try to get a Takedown on the enemy standing there. After that, quickly disable the nearby alarm. Pull out your camera and tag every enemy you can see. You'll spot quite a few, at least 8 or 9 more, including one up in a tower. Keep an eye out for the one with a yellow tag – that's your main target, the operator who has the key to the prison.

You might be able to take down a few enemies stealthily without alerting anyone, but honestly, it's probably going to turn into a full-on gunfight. You can sneak around and use Takedowns for a good chunk of it, but if it gets loud, don't worry – there's plenty of cover scattered around to duck behind and pick them off one by one. Once all the enemies are down, grab the keys from the operator and head into the prison.

Be warned, there are more enemies inside the cave system. If you're running low on ammo, grab one of the weapons you find and move in slowly. In the first area inside, you'll want to be extra careful with those explosive barrels. They can deal a ton of damage to you, but if you shoot them first, they can be a huge help in clearing out enemies.

Just trudge carefully through the prison. You never know when an enemy might pop out or what you might stumble upon. It’s a tight squeeze in there, so stay alert!
