Alright, so you've just finished up the last mission, and this one, 'Ambush,' kicks off right where you left off. Your first goal is to meet up with some local Rakyat folks who are planning to hit a prisoner convoy. If you've unlocked a fast travel point nearby, use it! Otherwise, you'll need to make your way there on foot to the marker on your map. Once you arrive, head into the church and have a chat with the Rakyat leader.

After you're done in the church, head outside to the waiting truck. Your job is to plant some C4 on it. As soon as you've planted the explosives, a 40-second timer starts ticking. You need to get to the top of the nearby water tower – so hustle! There's a sniper rifle waiting for you up there, so grab it. When the convoy rolls in and the truck you booby-trapped blows up, it's your cue to start taking out the remaining enemies to help the Rakyat. Keep in mind, these guys are tougher than the pirates you've fought before, so try to land those headshots.

As soon as that first truck goes up in smoke, get ready to switch to your sniper rifle and start picking off the bad guys.

Once you've dealt with enough of them, or a bit of time has passed, a new 3-minute timer will pop up. Your next objective is to get into the cargo truck. You'll need to slide down the ladder, then make a dash for the marker on your map. You'll find a truck waiting for you there – hop in and start driving towards the convoy.

Don't worry too much about this truck; it's pretty durable. Just plow through any roadblocks that get in your way. When you finally reach the convoy, take out any last enemies, then head over to open the doors of the convoy vehicles. Surprise! It's Vaas, and he knocks you out. Looks like the ambush didn't go quite as planned.
