Complete the Wingman mission in far cry 5. Find Nick Rye at Rye & Sons Aviation and retrieve his stolen plane from John Seed's Ranch.
Walkthrough
- 1Locate Rye & Sons Aviation southwest of Fall’s End. You will find the location under attack by the Cult. Use binoculars to survey and tag all hostiles. A truck will arrive, dropping four more cultists. While stealth is difficult, you can sneak around the sides and use a silenced handgun or Compound Bow to take out cultists from range. Once the area is clear, speak to Nick Rye to begin the mission.
- 2Nick will explain his plane was stolen and needs your help to retrieve it from John Seed’s ranch. Before leaving, loot the area. You will find a safe in the hangar and a locked door in Nick's house. If you lack the Locksmith Perk, find Rye’s Key in the shed marked with an “X” out back. Inside the house, open the locked door to find another safe, Dynamite, and a Flamethrower.
- 3Head southwest to John Seed’s ranch. The ranch is a Cultist Outpost, and you can choose to liberate it. Scout the area from a tower just north of the ranch. Grapple up for an excellent vantage point. Tag all 12 cultists (including three snipers) and three alarms.
- 4Take the southeast zipline down behind the estate to begin clearing the outpost. From the southeast of the ranch, south of two cultists, you will see the first alarm. Wait for the nearby cultist to move away, then approach the porch behind the alarm. From behind the fence, shoot the alarm with a silenced handgun.
- 5Turn back and circle around the back of the ranch. Wait for a patrolling cultist to approach and dispatch him. Continue until you reach a cultist on an elevated platform. Sneak up from behind the rocks and take him down. Move his body before another patrol arrives.
- 6Sneak towards the back of the house and wait for the next patrol to come around before eliminating him, being careful not to be spotted by the cultist on the balcony.
- 7Head back to the side of the house and position yourself between the two structures. A Marksman cultist is on the left balcony, and another is near the second alarm on the right. Wait below the stairs of the left Marksman cultist. When the right cultist turns his back, quickly takedown the left Marksman, grab his body, and retreat below the stairs, throwing it behind the house. If you don't move the body, the other cultist will investigate.
- 8Go to the stairs on the right. Wait for the cultist there to turn his back before taking him down and disabling the second alarm with a silenced bullet. Return to the area behind the left of the two houses. Take the ladder up and carefully ascend the roof ahead. Work your way towards the watchtower and climb onto it. Sneak up on the cultist there without issue.
- 9Look over the balcony to spot the last alarm. One more silenced bullet will disable it. Make your way off the roof the way you came. Return to the passageway between the two houses and take out the cultist waiting there.
- 10The next two cultists are in front of the watchtower. Wait for the one closer to your position to be distracted or turn away, then take him out before dispatching the one at the back.
- 11Three more cultists remain. The first is alone; position yourself with your back to the house and take him out. Quickly pick up his body and carry it back towards the house. A Marksman cultist patrols this area. Drop the body and takedown the Marksman when he turns around. Eliminate the final cultist to liberate the outpost.
- 12Before taking Nick’s plane, loot the ranch. You will find a Seed Ranch Region Map near the side of the left house and a Hunting: Deer magazine inside the main lodge on a chair. The plane is in the hangar.
