How to Build a Storage Chest

Alright, so you're looking to stash your loot, huh? Smart move! Building a Storage Chest is one of the first things you'll want to do to keep your base organized in Grounded. It lets you store a ton of stuff, up to 40 stacks, so you won't be tripping over resources anymore.

How to Unlock the Storage Chest Recipe

First things first, you gotta learn how to make the chest. Head over to your trusty Resource Analyzer and pop in an Acorn Shell. Once it's analyzed, bam! You'll have the recipe for the Storage Chest.

What You'll Need to Craft the Storage Chest

Here’s the shopping list for your new storage solution:

• Clover Leaf: x2
• Acorn Shell: x4
• Sap: x4

How to Get the Materials

Clover Leaves

These little guys are pretty common. You'll find Clover plants scattered all over the yard. To get the leaves, you'll need at least a Pebblet Axe. Just chop down the clovers, and each one should give you 2-3 Clover Leaves. Easy peasy.

Acorn Shells

For these, you'll need to find some acorns. They're usually hanging out near the Oak Lab – but heads up, spiders love that area, so be ready for a fight! Sap

Sap is that sticky, yellow goo you see on branches and sometimes in big globs. Oak Hill is a good spot to look, and you can also find a bunch of it inside the Oak Lab, especially on the shelves. Later on, you can even build a Sap Catcher to automate collection at your base!
