The Oak Lab is the first lab you'll likely encounter in Grounded. To find it, look for the large oak tree with red/orange leaves and head towards its base. Pink vapors surrounding the tree will guide you to the entrance. You can approach from the west, running over branches and dropping down, or from the east, entering from the ground just west of the pond.

    Investigate the Oak Tree Explosion: Locate the large oak tree and follow the pink vapors to find the Oak Lab entrance.

    Find and Speak with BURG.L: Inside the lab, proceed down the hallway. In a room with an analyzer, press a button to open a door. Loot the sap on the shelves to your left, then continue until you find a robot on the ground. Interact with this robot, BURG.L, to help them up.

    Use the Biometric Scanner at the ASL Terminal: After reviving BURG.L, speak with them to learn about the lab and their creator, Dr. Tully. Exhaust all dialogue options until you are prompted to use the Biometric Scanner at the ASL Terminal. Collect Raw Science from the pink blobs you encounter.

    Purchase Upgrades and Accept Quests: After using the Biometric Scanner, interact with the ASL Terminal to its left. Here, you can purchase upgrades like recipe packs or new mutations using Raw Science. The Smithing Station is a recommended early purchase. You can also accept three side quests: Hunter: Gnat (repeatable daily), Explorer - Great Oak Beacon, and Explorer - Trowel Gulch.

    Find the Mega Milk Molar: Before leaving, locate another Biometric Scanner next to a locked door in the room to the right of the analyzer. Use the scanner to open the door to a power room. The Mega Milk Molar is in the close left corner. You will need an Insect Hammer to open it, so return later if you don't have one.
