Mutations Purchased from ASL Terminals:

These mutations can be purchased from ASL Terminals after speaking with BURG.L in the Oak Lab. You’ll have access to Meat Shield by default, but you’ll need to find the Red Anthill BURG.L Chip to unlock Buff Lungs, and the Hedge Lab BURG.L Chip to unlock Daredevil.

Buff Lungs: Increases Stamina by 50. Cost: 3000 Raw Science (requires Red Anthill BURG.L Chip).

Daredevil: Reduces Fall Damage by 50%. A fall that would otherwise be fatal will instead leave the player at 1HP. Cost: 3000 Raw Science (requires Hedge Lab BURG.L Chip).

Meat Shield: Increases Max Health by 30. Cost: 3000 Raw Science (available by default).

Mutations Unlocked By Actions:

Unlike the three mutations above, those listed below can only be unlocked by performing specific actions. Many of these relate to killing various bugs in different ways, such as with your fists, with a spear, an axe, a hammer, a bow, etc. Others require you to perform specific tasks such as busting open rocks or cutting blades of grass. There are also some mutations which are unlocked when you explore different landmarks or kill specific named bugs.

Apex Predator: Chance to inflict increased poison damage with Club of the Mother Demon, increased attack speed with Scythe of Blossoms. Unlock Conditions: Kill the Mantis.

Ant-nihilator: Increases damage to Black Ants, Fire Ants, Red Ants, and the Mant boss by 5% (Phase 1), 15% (Phase 2), and 25% (Phase 3). Also increases damage resistance against these enemies by 10% when phase 3 is unlocked. Unlock Conditions: Kill 40 Black, Fire, or Red Ants for Phase 1, 100 for Phase 2, and 150 for Phase 3.

Assassin: Attacks with daggers have a chance to apply bleeding over time to the target. Chance increases with each phase. Unlock Conditions: Kill 40 creatures with a dagger for Phase 1, 100 for Phase 2, and 200 for Phase 3.

Barbarian: Chance to enter Rage state when attacking with a Club, which increases attack damage. However, makes timing for perfect blocks more difficult. . Unlock Conditions: Kill 40 creatures with a Club for Phase 1, 100 for Phase 2, and 200 for Phase 3.

Blademaster: Sword attacks have a chance to reduce the stamina cost of subsequent attacks. . Unlock Conditions: Kill 40 creatures with a sword for Phase 1, 100 for Phase 2, and 200 for Phase 3.

Cardio Fan: Decreases exhaustion rate and increases stamina regen by 10% (Phase 1), 15% (Phase 2), and 20% (Phase 3). Unlock Conditions: Become exhausted 100 times for Phase 1, 250 times for Phase 2, and 500 times for phase 3.

Chopper: Axe attacks have a chance to stagger your enemy, which interrupts their incoming attack or movement. . Unlock Conditions: Kill 40 creatures with an axe for Phase 1, 100 for Phase 2, and 200 for Phase 3.

Corporate Kickback: Blocked attacks have a chance to trigger an effect that will cause the next melee attack to replenish some health. Unlock Conditions: Kill Director Schmector.

Coup de Grass: Increases critical hit chance by 10% (Phase 1) and 25% (Phase 2). Unlock Conditions: Discover 4 Leaf Clover Landmarks (Phase 1), Roll 20 with the 20-sided die at Minotaur Maze’s End.

Fresh Defence: Increases resistance to Gas and Burn damage by 25% (Phase 1), 50% (Phase 2), and 75% (Phase 3). Also reduces sizzle rate by the same percentages. Unlock Conditions: Eat 1 Mint Shard (Phase 1), Eat 5 Mint Shards (Phase 2), Eat 10 Mint Shards (Phase 3).

Grass Master: Increases chopping efficiency by 25% (Phase 1), 50% (Phase 2), and 100% (Phase 3). Also refunds stamina from harvesting grass at Phase 3. Unlock Conditions: Chop 50 bla
