Walkthrough
- 1You'll start near the truck or the main gate. Head right towards the stairs where you first encountered a camera. To avoid it, hug the wall directly beneath it as you sneak past.
- 2Once you're past the camera's line of sight, take the stairs up to the second floor's balcony area. Be aware, there's a guard patrolling here. You can try to sneak by, or if you're in a hurry, a quick shot to the rear will do the trick. After dealing with the guard, head left.
- 3Keep an eye out for a ventilation duct located in one of the pillar areas. It's your next objective. Enter the duct, especially if you've been spotted by the guards.
- 4The duct is a straight shot, so you won't get lost. Keep moving forward, and you'll soon reach a grating above another area. A cutscene will trigger here.
- 5During the scene, Snake will overhear guards discussing the DARPA chief and someone who has already taken out a couple of guards (not Snake, thankfully).
- 6Once the cutscene wraps up, proceed to the end of the duct. You'll see an open area below. Snake will receive a call from the Colonel, instructing you to press the action button to descend. Do so, and you'll find yourself on the second-floor balcony of the Tank Hangar.
Tips
- The camera on the first flight of stairs is your first obstacle. Stick to the wall underneath it to remain undetected.
- The patrolling guard on the second floor can be tricky. Stealth is ideal, but a well-placed shot is a quicker alternative if you're pressed for time.
- Don't hesitate to use the duct if you've been detected. It's a safe passage and leads directly to the next objective.
- Listen closely during the cutscene in the duct; the intel you overhear is important for understanding the ongoing situation.
