Rebuild Your Clan

Recruit 20 Troops: Immediately after the tutorial, go north of the village of Tevea. Return to Tevea and recruit available troops. Purchase extra food to sustain them. You can recruit more troops from villages, towns, castles, and other settlements, but leave space for a companion. You can recruit numerous troops of different individuals in most settlements; good relations may offer higher quality troops.

Increase Denars by 1,000: Hunt and defeat looters, raiders, and bandits. Defeating larger groups yields more loot and prisoners. Sell loot to any merchant with enough denars. Sell prisoners at a tavern. Alternatively, participate in arena practice fights in Poros (southwest of Tevea) for 250 denars if you win; each fight takes about 10 minutes. Assaulting hideouts provides about 80 denars plus loot.

Hire 1 Companion: Visit a tavern in a large settlement. Poros is the nearest large settlement southwest of Tevea. You can visit any large settlement to choose a companion. Hiring a companion costs 1,300 - 1,900 denars initially. Listen to their stories; boastful, deceitful, or cruel companions may cause trouble. Genuine and honest companions are more reliable. Go to any settlement and enter the tavern menu to see available companions.

Reaching Clan Tier 1: Once you have 20 troops, 1 companion, and 1,000 denars, you likely have 50 renown, required for Clan Tier 1. Track renown in the quest description or clan tab. If you lack renown, engage in more battles with local bandits, complete minor trading quests, compete in tournaments, or engage in practice arena fights. Speak with a tournament master at any arena to find the nearest tournament. Minor quests can be found in large settlements by looking for characters with blue exclamation marks. Be cautious with quests from criminals asking to break the law; focus on quests from honest merchants to earn renown.
