Golden Scarabs

Golden Scarab 1: After the first shrine, continue right. You'll encounter Fuma Shields. After defeating them, drop down to the bottom and go right. Past a Ronin and another Fuma Shield, proceed to the next screen. The scarab is found by using fireballs to cross a gap; press Down and Cross to drop down and collect it.

Golden Scarab 2: After the second shrine, proceed deeper into the cave. After navigating a spiked area and a Flame Thrower, look for a breakable wall on the bottom right corner. This leads to a secret room containing the Scroll collectible. Return outside and climb upwards using fireballs. Near the top, you'll find two fire-spitting faces. Use your Guillotine Boost to bounce off them. At the very top, you'll find the second Golden Scarab.

Golden Scarab 3 (Triple Scarab): After the third shrine, continue left. After dealing with a Fuma Shield and Gurthka, you'll reach an area with a pit. The Triple Scarab is located here.

Golden Scarab 4: After the fourth shrine, continue left through a pit area with Red Ninjas and Jet Ninjas. After defeating a Fuma Shield guarded by an elite Red Ninja, proceed upwards. After navigating bamboo spikes and entering a cave, you'll find the next shrine. The fourth Golden Scarab is located in the pit area to the left of the Red Ninja, above you.

Golden Scarab 5: After the fifth shrine, continue right. Gurthka will burn the bridge, forcing you to run right. Jump over a Ronin. The last Crystal Skull is below you, so hang off the ledge to get it. After retrieving it, continue right to safety. The fifth Golden Scarab is located in the pit area after the wooden bridge, below you. Hang off the ledge to get it.
