Follow the path, deflecting shuriken to complete a challenge. Collect the first Golden Scarab by dropping down using platforms and pressing Down and Cross.

Defeat Fuma Shields and Ronin. Reach Shrine #2 and meet Muramasa, the merchant. Purchase a talisman.

Navigate a spiked area and find a fake wall leading to a secret room with the Scroll collectible.

Climb using fireballs to reach Shrine #3 and another Golden Scarab.

Defeat Gurthka and collect the Triple Scarab (counts as 3 Golden Scarabs).

Navigate a pit area, defeating Red Ninjas and Jet Ninjas. Find the first Crystal Skull above a pit area.

Defeat a Fuma Shield guarded by an elite Red Ninja to get the second Crystal Skull.

Climb and enter a cave for Shrine #5. Defeat a Ronin and Gurthka burns a bridge.

Hang off a ledge to grab the last Crystal Skull. Use Jet Ninjas to cross a pit and defeat a Fuma Shield.

Bounce off fireballs to reach Shrine #6. Defeat a Fuma Shield and a Drone. Meet a CIA Agent.

Enter the cave for Shrine #7 and the boss fight.

Boss Fight: Gurthka

Gurthka has 4 main attacks: a ground slam creating fireballs, a flying claw attack with homing fireballs, a wide fire breath, and a ground slam creating pillars.
He also summons a blue aura skull for free damage.
The arena now has fire in the center, limiting movement. Stay on one side and attack when he approaches.
Dodge his attacks, especially the fire breath by moving to the opposite side of the room.

Tips

To deflect 10 enemy projectiles, stay near a Red Ninja and let him throw shuriken at you.
Destroy the fake wall in the spiked area to find the secret room with the Scroll.
Use the elite enemies (blue aura) to defeat other enemies, especially Fuma Shields.
When crossing pits, use Jet Ninjas to bounce across.
For the boss fight, stay on one side of the arena and don't chase Gurthka.
