1. Shrine #1: After leaving town and following the path, defeat the Red Ninja and climb the wall. Use platforms to reach higher ground and cross fireballs to find the first Golden Scarab.
2. Shrine #2: Continue right and defeat the Fuma Shield enemies. After meeting Muramasa, proceed into the cave. Be cautious of spikes and a Flame Thrower. Destroy the fake wall in the bottom right corner to find a secret room containing the Scroll collectible.
3. Shrine #3: After crossing the destroyed bridge, find the Triple Scarab (counts as 3 Golden Scarabs) in a pit area. Navigate carefully, avoiding pits and fighting Red Ninjas and Jet Ninjas.
4. Shrine #4: In the next pit area, locate the first Crystal Skull above the Red Ninja. Continue left to find a Fuma Shield guarded by a blue aura Red Ninja, who is protecting the second Crystal Skull.
5. Shrine #5: After the bridge is burned, carefully navigate the pit area with distant platforms, using Jet Ninjas to cross. The last Crystal Skull is found by hanging off the ledge below the wooden bridge after Gurthka burns it.
6. Shrine #6: Climb the shaft and defeat enemies. A turret appears after a Jet Ninja; destroy it before climbing the wall. A land mine is present before meeting the CIA Agent.
7. Shrine #7: Before the boss fight with Gurthka, navigate a gate. The boss fight itself offers no new hidden areas, but the stage concludes after the fight.

Challenges:

• Find the secret room: Located near Shrine #2, behind a destructible wall.
• Deflect 10 enemy projectiles: Best done early in the stage with a Red Ninja.
• Avoid falling into pits: Crucial in several sections of the stage.

Collectibles:

• Crystal Skulls: 3 total, found in later sections of the stage.
• Golden Scarabs: 5 total (including the Triple Scarab), found throughout the stage.
• Scrolls: 1 total, found in the secret room near Shrine #2.
