Walkthrough

    Begin by grabbing the Kitetsu Sword next to Ryu.

    Exit the stadium using the opposite doorway from the Save Point.

    Locate and grab Golden Scarab #41 behind broken pillars next to the doorway.

    Approach the back wall and pull the lever to reveal the exit and activate floating ledges.

    Exit the stadium and proceed down the hill towards the large stairway.

    As you enter the Imperial Palace Stairway area, prepare for an ambush with Brown and Pink Shadow Fiends.

    Search the dead body near the doorway across the stairs if desired.

    Continue down the path towards a large tree and jump over it to find a Save Point.

    In Zarkhan Waterfalls, search the dead body across from the Save Point to obtain the MAP.

    Destroy the large boulder-like heads to find Golden Scarab #44 and Life OTG #21 under each.

    Enter the next area with a large pool and dive into the water to find Golden Scarab #45 and a chest with Life OTG #22.

    Enter the Cavern, go to the end, and jump down to a small enclosure.

    Kill the bats, dive into the water, and emerge on the other side.

    Slide down the large slope to enter The Great Hall.

    Upon landing in The Great Hall cavern, Shadow Fiends and Red Dinos will appear. You can fight them or use a Bird Flip on the nearby wall to jump to the top ledge.

    Open the nearby chest for Life OTG #23.

    Enter the Ice Cavern and find a Save Point and a large doorway missing an item.

    SAVE your game.

    Jump down to the area below and kill the enemies.

    Follow the path to the right and climb up to the top.

    Make another right turn and break the ice to fall into a small ice enclosure with more enemies.

    Kill them all and jump up to the top cavern.

    In the Ruins area, grab the SHIELD OF VIGOOR item from the opposite side of the metal-making device.

    Make your way back to the door next to the Save Point.

    SAVE your game and place the Shield of Vigoor on the door to open it.

    Enter the Magma Lake area.

    Approach the large globe to obtain the STONE TABLET (LEFT), completing the Tablet.

    To kill the dinos in the magma, use a non-essence charged Ultimate Technique (UT) on them.

    Use a Wall Run to get past each magma gap and drop to dry land.

    When you reach the other end, run up the ledge above the hot smoke and shimmy all the way to the right.

    Drop down at the end and then jump down to the small area.

Enemy Ambush: Zarkhan Stadium

On Normal Mode, the Fiends in the stadium will be Red Dinos. The strategy is to equip the Dabilahro and use its immense power. If you have the Unlabored Flawlessness, this will be easier. Separate the dinos, perform a Flaming Hell Slash to stun one, then immediately do a Flaming Whirlwind move (-->, /\) to kill it. Use its leftover essence for a UT on the other dinos. A UT won't kill the dino, so attack it with a Flaming Whirlwind to finish it off. Completing this challenge obtains a Lives Of The Thousand Gods.

Enemy Ambush: Imperial Palace Stairway

As soon as you enter this area, be prepared for an ambush with Brown and Pink Shadow Fiends. Use nonstop counterattacks and UT's to complete this challenge in less than 2 minutes. The prize is a Lives of the Thousand Gods.

Tips
  • There are a whole bunch of chests in the upper balconies and ledge of the stadium, but you'll need to activate the floating ledges to reach them.
  • There are two more Golden Scarabs and Life OTG's (items that grant an extra life) in the stadium. If you decide to go back into the stadium after leaving, you will trigger an Enemy Ambush.
  • Take the floating platform on the right and do a Wall-To-Wall Run to the next floating ledge. Jump over to the top of the doorway to obtain a Great Spirit Elixir.
  • Jump down and then jump on the floating ledge to the left. Use a Wall-To-Wall Run to the next floating ledge. Run up to the top of the doorway to find a Golden Scarab!
  • Jump down to the floating ledge you were on and use ANOTHER Wall-To-Wall Run in the opposite direction to the top ledge. Jump to the next ledge and then jump into the balcony.
  • Open the two chests for a Devil Elixir and a Life OTG and continue down the upper balcony.
  • Go all the way to the other end of the balcony to find another Golden Scarab.
  • There are also two more chests here: one with another Life OTG and the other is your prize from the Enemy Ambush.
  • Use a non-essence charged UT on the dinos in the magma to kill them off.
  • Use a Wall Run to get past each magma gap.
  • Above the hot smoke in Magma Lake is a ledge. Run up to it and shimmy all the way to the right (don't get hit by the smoke!).
