Walkthrough

Inner Sanctum: Upon entering, 10-12 Purple Ninjas will attack. Use hard combos and evasive rolls to defeat them. Once the room is cleared, the exit door will re-open, and the boss's lair will become accessible.

Boss Battle: Murai: Prepare to face Murai. On VERY HARD MODE, he will be assisted by Purple Windmill Shuriken ninjas and can perform his Rush attack twice consecutively.

Chapter 2: The Hayabusa Ninja Village - Objective: Head to Hayabusa Village: After saving your game at the Save Point, exit the Inner Sanctum and return to the Valley Of The Shadows.

Valley Of The Shadows: The previously locked large doorway will now be open. Enter the cavern and be cautious of BATS.

Altar: Approach the altar and pick up the scroll to obtain the ART OF THE FIRE WHEELS Ninpo. Equip it if desired. Use the manual elevator to descend. Behind the elevator, find a hidden chest.

Outside Elevator: Exit the elevator area to a grassy field. Use a Wall Run towards the next ledge and open the chest for a SMOKE BOMB.

Upper Mountain Path: As you leave this area, three Samurais will attack. Charge your sword for an Ultimate Technique (UT). Use a Level 1 UT on the first Samurai and use the leftover essence with an On-Land Charge to defeat the other two.

Mountain Path: Slide down the large hillside slope. Jump and grab a branch to avoid falling into the water below. Traverse branches to reach dry land and encounter more Samurais.

Outer Village: As you approach the path, several Samurais will charge. Use an Ultimate Technique on the first enemy. Evade their melee attacks and use UTs to quickly defeat them. Climb the watchtower ladder to find a chest containing the HAYABUSA VILLAGE MAP Key Item.

Broken Bridge Area: Use Water Running abilities. Jump into the water and Water Run to the opposite ledge. If you fall, swim to the next ledge.

Life of the Gods #1: Before climbing to the Save Point, look under the broken bridge across from you to find a small shack. Water Run inside to find a chest with a Life OTG item. Save your game at the Save Point.

Hayabusa Village Entrance: Enter the village; it will appear empty. To the right of the entrance are statues, one with a missing head. Continue down the path.

Village Combat: Samurais and Warlocks will attack from the front and behind. Focus on the Warlocks, who now shoot multiple fireballs. Roll under fireballs and use hard combos. Use their dropped Essence for UTs on the Samurais.

Life of the Gods #2: At the end of the pathway from the village entrance, pick up the STONE HEAD. Place it on the Jizo statue with the missing head near the village entrance to obtain another Life OTG item.

Upper Hill Slope: Note the upper hill slope leading to a shrine with a large stone. This stone will be dealt with in Chapter 15.

Alleyway: Enter the alleyway on the left side near the village entrance to find a dead body with an Elixir.

Objective: Find Ayane: Save your game. Go to the middle of the village and jump up to the open window on the second floor to find Ayane.

After Cutscene: Ayane will give you the BOW. Jump downstairs to a supply room containing a Muramasa Statue. Purchase the ARMLET OF THE SUN if you have enough money. Collect items from the shelves.

Tips

On VERY HARD MODE, Murai's Rush attack can be performed twice in a row, so be prepared for rapid assaults.
When fighting Warlocks, prioritize dodging their multiple fireballs and use their dropped Essence for powerful Ultimate Techniques against the Samurais.
Utilize Water Running to access hidden areas and collectibles, such as the Life OTG item under the broken bridge.
The Hayabusa Village Map is a Key Item found in a chest atop a watchtower.
