Walkthrough
- 1Upon entering the area, defeat the Pink Shadow Fiends.
- 2Approach the Save Point and save your game.
- 3To the left of the Monastery entrance is the Monastery Annex. Proceed there to find another Muramasa Statue.
- 4Go up the stairs, double jump to the ledge above, and follow the walkway to the other side. Jump down to trigger an enemy ambush.
- 5Rachel Enemy Ambush #1: Monastery Annex Entrance: Defeat the Pink Shadow Fiends. (VERY HARD MODE NOTE: 100 Pink Shadow Fiends total).
- 6After the challenge, Rachel receives a new Hairstyle.
- 7Return to the Monastery entrance and save your game.
- 8Enter the Monastery and proceed up the walkway towards the Altar Hall.
- 9Area: Altar Hall: Destroy all Pink Shadow Fiends. Avoid the Altar and enter the door on the right into the Archives Room.
- 10Area: Archives: Evade and counterattack the Red Fire Ninjas that swarm from above. Use combos and Ultimate Techniques (UTs) to clear the room.
- 11Go up the stairs and approach the paintings to complete the mission.
- 12Chapter 6: City of Fiends: Approach the Save Point and save your game. Open the nearby chest for items.
- 13Objective: Leave Han's Bar: Choose either the easy way (jump down balconies) or the hard way (go through the bar and down the stairs, defeating soldiers).
- 14Life of the Gods #8: If you choose the easy way, you will miss a Life OTG inside Han's Bar. Go back and get it if missed.
- 15Exit onto the street and defeat the two respawning MSAT Motorcycle guys using Flying Swallow and Arrows.
- 16Approach the Save Point next to Han's Bar and save your game.
- 17Golden Scarab #6 / Windmill Shuriken: Grab Golden Scarab #6 and the Windmill Shuriken (it returns in this location on Hard Mode). Interact with the Team Ninja Prototype to restore items.
- 18Objective: Go to Moat Road: Head back to the Bronze Lilly Door, defeat waiting soldiers, and go down the alley. Use a continuous Wall Run to reach an upper ledge with a chest.
- 19Life of the Gods #9: Open the chest on the upper ledge for a Life OTG.
- 20Area: Moat Road: As you proceed down the alley, defeat the trio of Red Fire Ninjas (they respawn).
- 21Make your way to the Save Point, save your game, and head for Drawbridge Square.
- 22Area: Drawbridge Square: Defeat the motorcycle soldiers. Enter the blue-jeweled doorway. Kill the soldiers waiting at the other end.
- 23Golden Scarab #7: In the middle of the alley, open a chest to obtain the Pegasus Key. Opposite the chest, find a Golden Scarab on a ledge. Use a continuous Wall Run to reach it.
- 24Use the Pegasus Key on the gate and pull the lever inside the room to lower the drawbridge. Save your game and cross the drawbridge.
- 25Objective: Head for the Monastery
- 26Area: Drawbridge Hill: Cross the drawbridge and ascend the stairs to Drawbridge Hill.
- 27Reach the Save Point; three Red Fire Ninjas will ambush you. Defeat them with combos.
- 28Golden Scarab #8 & #9 / Life of the Gods #10: Grab Golden Scarab #8 next to the Save Point. Take the path to the right and search wall crevices for Golden Scarab #9. Open the chest next to Scarab #10 for a Life OTG.
- 29Go back and around the street to find Muramasa's Statue. Restock if needed.
- 30Descend the stairs to Monastery Plaza.
- 31Area: Monastery Plaza: Upon entering, the gate locks, and soldiers drop from a balcony. Quickly eliminate them using Izuna Drops and UTs. Once all are defeated, the gates unlock, allowing you to proceed.
Tips:
- On Very Hard Mode, the Monastery Annex ambush consists of 100 Pink Shadow Fiends.
