Alright, so you're diving into No Rest for the Wicked and you've realized you need a shovel to dig up all those sweet secrets. Don't sweat it, finding one is pretty straightforward, especially early on.

Your best bet is to scour the very first area you explore, The Shallows. Keep your eyes peeled as you explore – shovels can be found in chests or just lying around in the environment. Sometimes you gotta backtrack a bit, especially after your initial push through the area, to check the beaches again. Loot can be a bit random, so it might not be in the exact same spot every time, but you'll likely find one here.

If you're having zero luck with random drops, or just want to guarantee you get one, you can always buy it from Fillmore. He hangs out in the Mess Hall in The Shallows. If you're making your way to Sacrament, he'll eventually relocate there too, so you could potentially grab it from him later. Honestly though, by the time he gets to Sacrament, you'll probably already have found one yourself.

The shovel is super important, man. It's one of the four essential tools you'll need to actually interact with the world and gather resources.
