After speaking with Danos, you can begin rebuilding and upgrading various facilities in Sacrament. These projects require materials and time to complete, offering enhancements to merchants, crafting stations, and shortcuts around town. There are eleven initial projects, with further upgrades available for some.

Material Locations

Materials are gathered using the required tools, which can be found in chests, purchased from traders, or obtained as quest rewards. Tools have durability, so consider bringing backups. Due to random map shifts, specific locations vary, but general gathering methods include:

  • Ores: Mine Ore Deposits with a Pickaxe.
  • Wood: Chop down trees with a Woodcutter’s Axe.
  • Clay: Interact with digging spots with a Shovel.

Higher-tier resources like Iron Ore and Spruce Wood are found in higher-level areas.

Best Early Upgrades

While subjective, a recommended early upgrade path prioritizes utility:

  1. Whittacker’s Crafting Shack: Unlocks the Workbench and Sawmill first.
  2. Caroline’s Inn: Provides essential health restoration outside of food.
  3. Fillmore’s Smithy: Grants access to the Anvil for weapon and armor crafting.
  4. Mira and Meri’s Tailor Shop or Eleanor’s Enchantment Shop: For armor crafting or enchantments.
  5. Gordon’s Pantry: For advanced cooking and the Stove.

The Gallows Scaffolding and Rookery Elevator are generally lower priority unless quick traversal is a major concern.
