Walkthrough for Part 39 of Paper Mario: Sticker Star, covering Whiteout Valley, ski-lift challenges, and preparations for the upcoming boss.
This next world is also rather straightforward and shouldn't require you to stock up on stickers. Head on back to World 4-5, and you should be ready to ride the lift if you've followed the walkthrough thus far.
2.4.7 Whiteout Valley
Grab the [Shiny Hammer] and [Shiny Line Jump] stickers on the bush. Afterwards, make a rush at the Ice Bro. and defeat him. Peel off the [Shiny Jump] behind him. Defeat the Shiny Goomba and grab the [Shiny Ice Flower] and [Shiny Hopslipper] stickers. Heal and save, then proceed eastward. Well, as far eastward as we can get. We're going to need that scrap leftover from The Enigmansion to ride the ski-lift in the background. Paperize, place it, and talk to the ticket sales Toad. Ride the lift up. However, it's not that easy.
As you go up the lift, coins will start floating on down. Press A as they pass over your wheel. However, after a bit, Fuzzies will start to come by on the wire. If you don't bump them off with a Jump, they'll face you. A little later, Ice Bros. will start riding down the opposite ski lift. To avoid their ice balls, you'll want to rock your ski-lift using the Circle Pad. Hearts will join the coins as you make it farther along the lift, but you should just focus on not getting hit.
Once you get inside the mountain, Fuzzies will start coming in waves. These aren't too much of a problem given that you can either rock to avoid them, or you can wait til they all clump together. I recommend a combination of both, considering the Ice Bros. will join in shortly.
The next phase will have Shiny Paragoombas start skipping ski-lift seats until they reach yours. If you rock back, however, you can avoid them. You'll want to keep rocking (and holding your rocks) so that you can minimize the number of high-wire battles you have to do. You should finish out this level relatively easily, though.
The next world--as denoted by its ominous name--holds the boss of the laissez-faire ice world. Before you go there, you'll want to stock up on plenty of fire-elemental stickers from 4-4, Decalburg, and 1-5. You'll also want to sling the Oven that you got from 4-3, and make sure that you have various other stickers like the Radiator, Matches, and the Lighter.
