How to Beat and Get Mega Dragonite

How to Get Dragonite:

You can obtain Dragonite through several methods:

• Dratini or Dragonair: Found in Bleu Sector 9, Jaune Sector 3, Magenta District, Rouge District, and Vert Sector 6.
• Dragonite: Spawns in Wild Zone 20, which unlocks late in the main story. Be aware that Dragonite spawns are infrequent here due to many other Pokémon. Target farming may require many Wild Zone battles.

Remember the evolution levels:

• Dratini evolves into Dragonair at level 30.
• Dragonair evolves into Dragonite at level 55.

How to Beat Rogue Mega Dragonite:

The Rogue Mega Dragonite boss battle is part of Main Mission 32, occurring late in the main storyline. Dragonite is a Flying/Dragon type, making it weak to Fairy and Electric attacks. It also has weaknesses to Ice, Rock, and Dragon. However, avoid Rock-type Pokémon if they are paired with Ground, Steel, or Water types, as these can be resistant or weak to Dragonite.

Recommended Pokémon for this fight include:

• Dedenne
• Clefable
• Gardevoir

How to Get Mega Dragonite:

After defeating the Rogue Mega Dragonite, you will receive the Dragoninite, a Mega Stone for Dragonite. Equip this stone to your Dragonite. During battle, press the right stick to transform Dragonite into its Mega form when you have sufficient Mega Power.

Mega Dragonite Stats Overview:

Mega Dragonite's stats see a slight decrease in regular Attack but a significant increase in Defense, Special Attack, and Special Defense, while HP and Speed are also buffed.

Mega Dragonite's boosted Special Attack is particularly effective against opponents with lower elemental defense, especially when used as a counter-type, making it excellent for defeating weaker Dragon and Steel types.
