Changing the Time

Learn how to change the time of day in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Discover methods like sleeping at Hotel Z or using benches to progress the story and prepare for Z-A Royale.

In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, certain story events and activities, like the Z-A Royale, are time-dependent and only occur at night. To manage your time effectively, you can monitor the in-game clock via the mini-map in the top-left corner. A blue dial around the map depletes over time, indicating the transition from day to night or vice versa.

If you find that the time is not changing as expected, it is likely tied to an ongoing quest that must be completed first. You cannot manually change the time through a menu. However, there are two methods to advance time:

1. Sleep at Hotel Z: Located in Vert Sector 8 (northeast of the Pokémon Research Lab), you can sleep in your room at the hotel to change the time.
2. Use Nearby Benches: You can also sleep on benches found throughout the game world. This option becomes available after winning the 3rd promotion battle in the Z-A Royale.
