Navigate Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Part 12, battling sand creatures and finding Sand Fields and a Life Extension Fountain.
Walkthrough
- 1From the initial platform, run along the right wall and jump to a passage filled with spiked poles. The last 4 in a row can be avoided by moving into the side crevices.
- 2Climb down and make your way past 3 spiked poles.
- 3Climb up the ledges, enter the room, and exit the area. An interesting cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (an in-game cinematic) plays.
- 4After the cutscene, battle sand creatures in the palace and kill them all to access the Save Point.
- 5Look for a small entrance in a pile of rubble to the left of the Save Point.
- 6Run up the staircase and give chase after the girl. When rubble falls, turn right into a room.
- 7From the room, run along the right wall of the staircase to land on the other side.
- 8Grab the Sand Field nearby.
- 9Walk over to the cupboard beside the bed, climb on it, and run along the wall to grab the poles above.
- 10On the first pole, swing backwards and jump to reach the pole above the cupboard.
- 11From there, swing and jump towards the wall to hang onto a ledge.
- 12Walk alongside the ledge to the next platform, then run along the wall to the other platform.
- 13Run along the left wall again, and when you feel you've gone far enough, jump to the right pole and swing to a new passage.
- 14Behind you, climb up the rocks to get a Sand Field, indicated by a high-pitched, humming sound.
- 15Head on again, turn left, and jump over to grab the poles. Swing from pole to pole, adjusting left or right to reach the next pole.
- 16Once at the other side, there is a fountain; use it to replenish life if needed.
- 17Head right and enter the room.
- 18From the room, run along the right wall, grab the poles, and swing to the other side.
- 19Run alongside the walls again, grab the poles, and climb down from each.
- 20Fight the 6 sand creatures.
- 21Go to the right side of the wall, run up it, and jump to the pole with the lamp.
- 22Turn around, swing, and jump to the other side. Use Chameleon Stall (hanging onto a wall) and jump onto the pole above you.
- 23Turn around again, and jump onto the ledge behind you. Pull yourself up and enter the hole. A Save Point awaits.
- 24From the room where you smash obstacles, grab the Sand Field glowing to your right.
- 25Head back to the wall on the opposite side, run up it, and jump to grab the pole. Swing onto the platform near you.
- 26Climb down into the huge hole to your right to find the first LEF - Life Extension Fountain, which increases your permanent life.
- 27Climb down to the ledge beside you.
- 28Jump over to the ledges below, aiming for the top ledges and making your way down.
- 29Run along the wall to grab the Sand Field across the ridge.
- 30Climb down the ridge, aiming for elevated rocks.
- 31Climb down the rocks and head into the passage. A cutscene plays, introducing Farah.
- 32Fight the beetles with your sword; they are not sand creatures.
- 33Take a sip from the fountain and grab the Sand Field to the left of the pathway.
- 34Backtrack to where you came from and turn left into the other room.
- 35Jump over to the next platform. Make your way outside where beetles take the hourglass. The balcony collapses.
- 36Run along the left wall to get to the other side.
- 37Enter the room and climb up the column. Jump to the column on the right, then to the 4th column.
- 38From the 4th column, jump to the wall and climb down the ledges to the platform.
- 39Run along the right wall and jump to the highest column.
- 40Slide down, smash the beetles, and grab the Sand Field.
- 41Run along the right wall (the one without a barricade/fence) and jump over to the next column.
- 42Slide down the column, using its shadow as an indicator.
Sand Fields Found:
- 1 - On the other side of the room where you had to run along the wall. Located on your right.
- 2 - After jumping over to a pole on your right to the platform. Located behind you.
- 3 - In the room where you smash obstacles, glowing to your right.
- 4 - After climbing down the rocks and heading into the passage, to the left of the pathway after the fountain.
- 5 - After sliding down the column, grab the Sand Field.
- 6 - After running along the right wall and jumping to the next column, use its shadow as an indicator and slide down to grab the Sand Field.
Tips
- The last 4 spiked poles in a row can be evaded by moving into the crevices on either side.
- Sand Fields are indicated by a high-pitched, humming sound.
- Beetles must be defeated with your sword, not the dagger.
- The Life Extension Fountain increases your permanent life.
- When climbing columns, use their shadows as indicators for sliding down.
