The formidable Ice Golem, often encountered guarding frozen passages within the Glacial Depths, presents a significant challenge due to its immense physical power and chilling elemental attacks. Understanding its vulnerabilities is key to overcoming this icy behemoth. The Ice Golem's primary weakness lies in its Molten Core, a glowing, exposed organ that appears after it performs certain heavy attacks, such as its devastating Glacial Slam. During these brief windows, the Molten Core takes an additional 50% damage from all sources.

Exploiting this weakness requires precise timing and positioning. Ranged attacks are generally less effective against its thick, icy hide, but can be used to chip away at its health from a distance while waiting for an opening. Melee characters should focus on dodging its sweeping arm attacks and its signature Frost Breath, which can inflict the 'Frozen' status effect, severely limiting mobility. Once the Molten Core is exposed, unleash your most powerful abilities. The Sunstone Shard, a rare consumable, can also be thrown at the Golem to temporarily melt its icy armor, making it more susceptible to damage for 10 seconds, increasing all incoming damage by 20%.

Another critical weakness is its susceptibility to fire damage. Weapons enchanted with fire, such as the Blazing Blade, deal an extra 30% damage to the Ice Golem, even when not striking the Molten Core. If you lack fire-infused weapons, consider using the Emberbloom Petal consumable, which coats your current weapon with a temporary fire enchantment for 30 seconds. Be mindful of its charge attack, a rapid advance that can cover significant ground. Dodging this at the last second will often stagger the Golem, providing a brief opportunity to attack its legs before its Molten Core becomes exposed.
