The Mire Lurker, a stealthy and venomous denizen of the Murky Fen, demands a cautious and tactical approach. These creatures excel at ambushing unsuspecting adventurers, often emerging from the murky waters or dense foliage. Their primary attack is a swift lunge followed by a potent venomous bite, which inflicts the 'Poisoned' status, dealing 5% of max HP per second for 15 seconds. Recognizing the subtle ss of their presence, such as disturbed water or rustling reeds, is crucial for survival.

When engaging a Mire Lurker, prioritize maintaining a safe distance and observing its movement patterns. They have a relatively short engagement range but are incredibly agile. The Hunter's Charm, an accessory found in the early stages of the game, grants a 15% chance to detect nearby ambushing enemies, making it invaluable in Fen environments. If you find yourself targeted, immediately roll away to create space and allow your poison resistance to regenerate. Using area-of-effect (AoE) attacks, like the Whirlwind Strike ability, can help flush them out if they attempt to hide or reposition.

Mire Lurkers are particularly vulnerable to blunt damage. Weapons like the Iron Mace or the Crushing Hammer deal an additional 25% damage to their chitinous exoskeletons.
