Project Windless is an upcoming game adaptation of the fantasy novel series The Bird That Drinks Tears, developed by Krafton Montreal and published by Krafton. Step into a mythic age as a mighty Rekon warrior and journey across a breathtaking, war-torn world. Stand against overwhelming odds, forge alliances, and wage war across massive battlefields to unite a fractured land and give birth to a new kingdom. This ambitious project will bring the beloved book to life, showcasing its rich world, complex characters, strange creatures, and breathtaking locations, all combined with edge-of-your-seat gameplay.

The game will tell the story of the King the Hero, a Rekon warrior from 1500 years ago who founded the Arajit Kingdom. While specific details on special weapons and artifacts are not yet fully revealed, the game's development has involved concept artist Iain McCaig as design director and Son Kwangjae as art director. The game is slated for a 2026 release.
