To truly unlock its potential, players must delve into the intricate world of weapon modifications. These upgrades not only enhance its base stats but can also imbue it with unique properties, transforming it from a powerful tool into an indispensable ally. The primary modification station is found within the Ironclad Workshop, accessible after completing the "Ironclad Trial" quest. Here, you can craft a variety of attachments using salvaged components and rare materials.

One of the most sought-after modifications is the "Void-Touched Barrel". This upgrade increases the rifle's base damage by 15% and adds a 10% chance to inflict the "Void Rot" status effect on critical hits. Void Rot deals 5% of the target's maximum HP over 10 seconds and can stack up to three times. To craft this, you'll need 5x Obsidian Shards, 3x Resonant Coils, and 1x Void Essence.
