Locate approximately 50 Hidden Chests and 20 Stashes in Project Windless for valuable gear and Aether Dust. Use the Aether Compass to find concealed loot.

Hidden Chests and Stashes contain valuable gear, rare crafting materials, and sometimes even unique cosmetic items. These are often concealed behind illusory walls, environmental puzzles, or require specific tools to access. There are approximately 50 Hidden Chests and 20 Stashes throughout the game world.

Hidden Chests

Hidden Chests are larger containers, often requiring a 'Skeleton Key' or solving a short puzzle to open. They typically contain rare weapons, armor, or a significant amount of 'Aether Dust'.

• Oakhaven Forest:
  • Chest of the Woodland Guardian: Behind an illusory wall near the 'Elder Tree'. Interact with the glowing mushrooms to reveal it.
  • Bandit's Hoard: In a cave accessible only by destroying a weak rock wall with a 'Blast Crystal'.
• The Whispering Mire:
  • Mirewalker's Cache: Submerged in a small pond, requires the 'Aetheric Rod' to pull it to the surface.
  • Fungal Chest: Inside a giant mushroom cap, accessible by jumping puzzles.
• Celestial Peaks:
  • Sky-Pirate's Bounty: On a precarious ledge, requiring precise use of the 'Grappling Hook'.
  • Glacial Chest: Encased in ice, requiring a 'Flame Rune' to melt.

Stashes

Stashes are smaller, more discreet containers, often yielding rare crafting reagents or 'Chronos Shards'. They are usually found in less obvious spots, such as under loose floorboards or behind small rock formations.

1. Oakhaven Village Stash: Under the floorboards of the abandoned blacksmith's shop.
2. Mire Fisherman's Stash: Buried near the fishing shack in the Whispering Mire, requires 'Digging Tools'.
3. Cloud Temple Stash: Behind a loose stone in the 'Cloud Temple' library.
4. Crimson Wastes Prospector's Stash: Tucked away in a small alcove in 'Ashfall Canyon', covered by debris.

The 'Aether Compass' will emit a faint chime when a hidden chest or stash is within 20 meters, helping to pinpoint their exact location.
