Resident Evil 2 (Remake) Claire Redfield walkthrough: Get the torch, find the key, and escape the gas station to reach the RPD.
Walkthrough
- 1After the initial cutscenes, run towards the door and push it open to trigger the next cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically). You will automatically pick up a torch.
- 2Turn left, run to the end of the aisle and go through the door past the injured police officer.
- 3Make your way to the end of the next passage and go through the slightly ajar door for another cutscene.
- 4You will be thrown into your first battle. Stagger or drop your foe.
- 5Go past the defeated zombie and down the aisle where he was standing to find a key hanging on a board.
- 6Take the key and go back down the aisle.
- 7Take a left down the other aisle where you'll come to a locked door. Use the key you just picked up to open it.
- 8In the next room, your goal is the door to your left as you enter.
- 9Run down the aisle immediately to your right, turn left at the end and run down the next aisle.
- 10As you approach the door, you will trigger another cutscene where you meet Leon and make your escape.
- 11When the opening credits and next cutscene are done, turn around and run to the right of the female zombie facing away from you.
- 12Make your way around the burning cars and a little further ahead, you will see an alley to your left.
- 13Run down it and follow it to the end.
- 14Pick your way through the path formed by the stationary cars.
- 15Open the gates for another short cutscene and go through the doors in front of you.
Tips
- The zombie in the gas station starts a bit closer than in Leon's scenario, so maybe back up a little.
- You don't need to fight the three zombies in the room with the locked door.
- One of the zombies will knock over a trolley blocking your route in the room with the locked door.
- You can avoid being harassed by enemies in Raccoon City if you give them a reasonably wide berth.
