Walkthrough

    After the Death Egg armour is destroyed, you will be sent hovering upwards.

    Head right and cross the electric bridge, then go through the anti-gravity passageway.

Mini-Boss Battle: Shielded Sphere Machine - 8 Hits

When the eight balls circle the machine, hit the eye. Each hit causes a ball to explode, scattering tiny spikes. Try to collect lost Rings quickly to maintain constant attacks.

When the balls extend, wait for them to circle the machine again before hitting the eye.

After all balls are destroyed and the eye has been hit 8 times, it will attack with a laser. Two spiked platforms will circle the eye. Jump on these platforms to hit the eye, waiting for the laser to disappear before attacking. If the eye fires the laser and hovers towards you, the rotating spiked platforms can cause damage. Move to the opposite side of the screen and duck to try to avoid the spikes.

  • The Shielded Sphere Machine is considered the hardest Mini-Boss in the game.
  • Collect any lost Rings immediately to continue attacking the eye.
  • When the spiked platforms appear, wait for the laser to dissipate before making your move.
