    Head right and down the slope, past bumpers, and enter the water.

    After two rotating drums, go right, jump onto the drum, and proceed past the Starpost.

    Float across anti-gravity platforms, use the dropping platform, and hover upwards.

    Spin Dash up a slope, jump to a higher platform, cross balloons, and drop down to break the floor.

    Float across anti-gravity platforms, use bumpers to go right, pass drums and platforms, hover upwards, and go right.

    Pass more drums and platforms, then spikes and the Starpost to meet Knuckles.

    After Knuckles leaves, collect the Water Shield, enter the water, go left, break the floor, and Spin Dash through the wall.

    If low on air, pop balloons for bubbles. As you drop, the water drains.

    Go left, drop down, float across anti-gravity platforms, enter the water, head right, and pass bumpers.

    Hover upwards, go left, hover upwards again, and use a spring to reach the top.

    Spin Dash through a wall, go down a slope, go left, and pass rotating white cylinders. Press the switch to turn lights back on.

    Navigate past rotating drums. To get underneath a difficult rotating drum, press Up and Down rapidly when it moves up and down. Jump down when the gap is sufficient.

    Drop down, collect the Invincibility, float across anti-gravity platforms, and go down a slope.

    Pass rotating drums, hover upwards, go left, hover upwards again, and go down a slope.

    Float across more platforms, go past the Starpost, and Spin Dash through a wall.

    Run through speed boosts to meet Knuckles again. He presses a switch, causing you to hover upwards. Head right to meet the Boss.

  • The Mini-Boss involves a detached drill that destroys the floor. Falling off results in a lost life.
  • Hit the blade to open and extend it.
  • Score a hit when the drill attempts to re-attach itself to the blade.
  • Avoid the energy that appears around the Mini-Boss, as touching it causes damage.
