    Survive a hold-out section with 4-5 enemies attacking from the front and back. Use your Shotgun and Handgun, and collect the 4 Shotgun Shells on the left. Use the area around Yokiko to dodge.

    After the hold-out, a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play.

    Proceed to Chapter 14: Burning The Altar. You will receive the "Fire Walk With Me" Bronze Trophy for entering the enemy stronghold.

    Explore the fortress, collecting 2 Bottles, 50 Weapon Parts (far right corner), 1 Herb (upper left corner), Gunpowder (middle left), another Herb, and File 39/40 (center altar).

    Head to the far right corner for 50 Weapon Parts.

    Go up the steps to a center altar for another Herb and File 39/40.

    Continue past the door and go up the RIGHT stairs.

    Take a right into a smaller door to find 2 Herbs, 2 Metal Pipes, and Nails.

    Exit this room and go to the MIRROR room to save/upgrade. Collect the Assault Rifle Ammo Pouch 3/3, Gunpowder, 65 Weapon Parts, and 4 Handgun Bullets.

    Return to the center room and take the other path (past the left stairs) to find Gunpowder in the corner.

    Go up the stairs, ignore the illusion and dialogue, and proceed into the next room.

    Fight several Fire Enemies one at a time. Collect a Bottle to the left. Sneak kill the enemy coming down the stairs or follow them up and stab them. Collect the Fuse to the lower left on the barrels.

    Sneak kill the patrolling enemy in the northeast. Hide by the barrels if caught.

    Sneak kill the enemy in the middle area. Examine an ash pile for a random item. Note the Freeze Canister and use it on normal fire enemies.

    Check the northeast catwalk for Gunpowder and the upper left corner for 8 Handgun Bullets.

    Enter the north room, sneak kill an enemy, and collect 2 Harpoon Bolts from corpses on the wall.

    Go down the northeast hallway, noting the Freeze Canister, and kill the next enemy in the northeast room (use the canister if desired).

    In the northeast room, find a LEVER (do not use yet), and a Syringe.

    Head down the east hallway and CHECK THE RED CART for Locker Key 31/32.

    Go south into the eastern room to find a Bottle, Herb, and stairs.

    Go down the stairs to a small area. Grab the Syringe. Use the lever to kill all enemies.

    Enter the incineration room to find a Freeze Bolt, 2 Harpoons, and examine ash piles. Two Fire Enemies will appear; try to sneak kill one.

    Head back up the stairs to the northeast corner and use the lever. This opens the west door.

    Go through the west door and kill the multiple enemies that spawn. Use headshots with a sniper rifle or sneak kills.

    Head upstairs for more dialogue with Theodore. Collect Red Gel, a Metal Pipe, and examine an ash pile for a random item.

    Use the lever to stop the flames and go up the stairs to a hallway.

    Enter the room on your left. On the far table, find the last File 40/40, which grants the "Diligent Reader" Silver Trophy.

Tips
  • Use the area around Yokiko to dodge enemies during the hold-out section.
  • The barrels in the area with Fire Enemies provide good hiding spots if you are caught sneak killing.
  • The Freeze Canister can be used on the normal fire enemies as there is no reason to save it.
  • Use headshots with the sniper rifle to thin out enemy groups effectively.
