Alright, let's talk about really making Sebastian's arsenal sing in The Evil Within 2. This section is all about those sweet, sweet upgrades and crafting. You'll be looking to snag a few trophies here, and honestly, they're pretty straightforward if you know what you're aiming for.

We're covering weapon upgrades, crafting everything possible, and even those sneaky Residual Memories. Some of these will pop naturally, but others might need a little New Game Plus magic.

Trophy Guide: Upgrades & Crafting

First up, let's break down the trophies related to making your gear the best it can be.

• Now You're Playing with Power (Bronze): This one is for fully upgrading a single weapon to Level 3. You might get this just by focusing on your favorite gun, or you might need to carry it over into New Game Plus. It's a stepping stone to the bigger weapon trophy, so don't stress too much about it.

• A Little Extra Kick to it (Bronze): This is for maxing out one of your Warden Crossbow bolts. Pick your favorite bolt type, hoard those weapon parts and high-grade weapon parts, and dump them into it. Easy peasy.

• They Never Even Stood A Chance (Silver): This is the big one – completely upgrading ALL weapons. Seriously, *everything*. You'll almost certainly need New Game Plus for this. I found it easiest to go for this on Casual difficulty in NG+, as weapon parts are more plentiful. You can realistically get this by Chapter 7 in NG+ if you're efficient. Remember, this includes the MAGNUM you unlock after beating the game!

• DIY (Bronze): Crafted something for the first time. This is super simple and you'll get it almost immediately after reaching your first safehouse. Just craft literally anything, and bam, trophy unlocked.

• Handyman (Bronze): Crafted every single type of item at least once. This one also requires New Game Plus, mainly because you need to craft a bullet for the MAGNUM, which you only get in NG+. Make sure you're doing all the side quests throughout the game, and craft the Sniper Rifle and Flamethrower if you haven't already. Once you've crafted one of everything, all that's left is that magnum bullet in NG+.

• Echoes Within STEM (Silver): Observed all Residual Memories. These are a special type of collectible. If you've been following along closely, you should have found them all. They're helpfully numbered, making them easier to track. I'll be adding a dedicated Residual Memory section soon to make tracking them even simpler.

Pro-Tip: Don't neglect side quests! They often reward you with valuable weapon parts and crafting materials that are essential for these upgrades and crafting trophies.
