Walkthrough
- 1Warp to the Light World and go to the Hyrule Castle gate.
- 2Pass under the gate to enter the Dark World.
- 3Head east, south, and west to the location of Link's house in the Light World to find the Bomb Shop.
- 4Purchase the Super Bomb for 100 Rupees.

- 6Carry the Super Bomb to the Pyramid of Power.
- 7Go up the first set of steps and west to find a cracked wall.
- 8Set the Super Bomb at the cracked wall; it will blow open an entrance after 3 seconds.
- 9Enter the cave and throw your Bow & Arrows into the fountain.
- 10Answer the Cursed Fairy honestly to receive the Silver Arrows.
- 11Throw your Tempered Sword into the fountain.
- 12The Cursed Fairy will upgrade it to the Golden Sword.
- 13If you have an empty Bottle, throw it in to have the Cursed Fairy fill it with Green Potion.
- 14Leave the pyramid and return to the Light World.
- 15Summon your bird and fly to Death Mountain.
- 16Stay along the lower part of the mountain and head east, dodging Deadrocks and falling rocks.
- 17Use the Hookshot to cross a broken bridge.
- 18Go south and lift a small dark stone to reveal a Magical Warp Tile.
- 19Use the Magical Warp Tile to warp to the Dark World version of Death Mountain.
- 20Go northeast to find two caves; enter the west cave.
- 21Inside the west cave, go west and up the stairs.
- 22Go north, defeat a Blue Hardhat Beetle, and drop down the hole.
- 23Push the northwest block out of your way and go up the western stairs.
- 24Defeat another Blue Hardhat Beetle and drop into the hole at the east end.
- 25Go east and up a different set of stairs.
- 26Defeat two more Blue Hardhat Beetles.
- 27Pick up the skull for a Heart.
- 28Drop into any of the three holes to reach the same area.

- 31Go up the nearby stairs and then south to exit the cave.
- 32On the upper level of Death Mountain, lift the large stone in front of you to enter another cave.

- 35Hookshot back to the first island, then hookshot north to a new island.
- 36Open the chest for 50 Rupees.
- 37Hookshot southwest to an island with two chests. Open the first chest for 50 Rupees.
- 38To access the second chest, hookshot west, walk south, then hookshot east (defeating the Blue Bari if necessary). Open the chest for 50 Rupees.
- 39To return, hookshot back to the westernmost island, then hookshot north to an island guarded by a Blue Hardhat Beetle.
- 40Defeat the Blue Hardhat Beetle if it is in your way, possibly with a Silver Arrow.
- 41Hookshot north, then east to the island with one of the lone chests.
- 42Hookshot south onto the first island, lining yourself up along the western edge to hit the southern skull.
- 43Finally, hookshot back east to the skull near the entrance.
- 44Follow the walkway north.
- 45Activate the Ether Medallion (or observe the lighting) to reveal an invisible path across the bottomless pit.
- 46Walk across the invisible path to the other side.
Tips
- The Super Bomb is not an inventory item; Link drags it behind him.
- Pressing A with the Super Bomb sets it, starting a 3-second countdown. Press A again to defuse it.
- If the Super Bomb detonates, you must purchase another for 100 Rupees.
- Avoid dashing, warping, or dropping off ledges while carrying the Super Bomb.
- The Silver Arrow is the only weapon capable of destroying Ganon.
- The Golden Sword is the most powerful sword in the game; most enemies take one hit, and powerful enemies like Hinoxes take at most two hits.
- Sword beams from the Golden Sword are still weak, equal to the Fighter's Sword.
- Lynels, powerful centaur-like foes that spit fireballs, are encountered if you venture too far west on the upper level of Death Mountain.
- Do not lift any skulls in the cave on the upper level of Death Mountain, as they are needed for Hookshot targets.
