Acquiring Ice Arrows

Learn how to get the Ice Arrows in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. This guide covers the Octorok Room, Chu Room, and the mini-boss Wart.

Alright, let's snag those Ice Arrows! First things first, after the water pushes you back to the Central Chamber, you'll want to take the lower path. Look for the red pipe – that's your ticket to the Octorok Room. Climb up that red pipe to get out of the water. You'll see a Real Bombchu; shoot it, and then head through the locked door.

Next up is the Chu Room. It's filled with Green and Yellow Chus. Take them out – they'll drop Arrows and Magic, which you'll definitely want to stock up on before the next fight. Once you're good to go, make your way to the Mini-Boss Room.

Mini-Boss: Wart

As soon as you enter, look up to start the battle. Wart is this big eyeball surrounded by a bunch of little bubbles. Your goal is to pop those bubbles so you can actually shoot the eye.

You've got a few options here. The Hookshot is a pretty safe bet for popping them one by one. If you want to go faster, try tossing a Bomb or using a Quick Spin Attack repeatedly. Once you've cleared out a good chunk of the bubbles, start shooting the eye whenever it's open and facing you.

After you hit it enough, Wart will slam down, releasing all the remaining bubbles. A few Quick Spin Attacks should clear those out easily. Keep an eye on the eye – when it's open and looking your way, nock an arrow and fire for the final blow. Once Wart is defeated, a chest will pop up in the center of the room containing the Ice Arrows!

Pro Tip: If Wart is giving you trouble, just stand in one of the corners. Wart is too big to reach you there, giving you a safe spot to plan your next move.
