The Ocarina of Time

Alright, so you've found yourself in a bit of a pickle, haven't you? The moon's looking pretty menacing, and that Skull Kid is causing all sorts of trouble. First things first, you need to remember a specific song – it's super important for making any real progress. Without it, you're stuck!

At midnight on the third day, the entrance to the Clock Tower will open up. Head on up the stairs. You'll find Skull Kid waiting, with that giant moon looming overhead. Don't even think about trying to fight him right now; he's way too powerful for you at this stage.

What you *really* need to do is exactly what the Happy Mask Salesman told you: get the Ocarina of Time back. To do this, you'll need to hit Skull Kid with a bubble blast. It sounds weird, but trust me, it works.

Once you grab the Ocarina of Time, you'll get a flashback. It's Link remembering Zelda playing the Song of Time. Now, pull out your Ocarina (it looks like brass pipes now, pretty neat, huh?) and play the Song of Time. This will send you back to the Dawn of the First Day, resetting the three-day cycle.

After that, head back into the Clock Tower. Speak with the Happy Mask Salesman again. He's going to teach you the Song of Healing. Playing this song will cure the curse Skull Kid put on you, and you'll get the Deku Mask. This mask is awesome because it lets you transform into a Deku Scrub whenever you want!

The Happy Mask Salesman is pretty ticked off because you haven't returned Majora's Mask yet. You've got no choice but to get it back before the end of the third day, or well... things are going to get a lot worse.
