Master the Stone Tower's puzzles in Majora's Mask 3D! This guide helps you navigate the tricky platforms and switches using the Elegy of Emptiness, Goron Mask, and Zora Mask.
Walkthrough
- 1Before you can even think about climbing the Stone Tower, you absolutely *must* have the Elegy of Emptiness song from Ikana Castle. Seriously, no song, no climb.
- 2The Stone Mask is also a huge help here. It lets you waltz past the Beamos (those spinning turrets) without them bothering you, making the puzzle sections much smoother.
- 3You'll be switching between your Zora Mask and Goron Mask to create statues that hold down floor switches.
- 4First Puzzle: Start by hopping across the initial platforms. When you reach the first floor switch, stand on it and play the Elegy of Emptiness. This creates a statue of Link. Now, use your Hookshot on the statue to reach the next level.
- 5Next, you'll see a Beamos. Blow it up with a Bomb. After that, put on your Goron Mask, step onto the newly revealed floor switch, and play the Elegy of Emptiness again to create a Goron statue.
- 6Hookshot up to the next platform. Here, equip your Zora Mask, step on the switch, and play the Elegy of Emptiness to create a Zora statue. With all three statues holding down their switches, the blocks will align, allowing you to cross to the next puzzle area.
- 7Second Puzzle: Once you cross over, immediately create a statue using the Elegy of Emptiness and Hookshot to the second tier.
- 8Defeat the Beamos on this tier. Then, put on your Goron Mask and make another statue on the switch.
- 9One last time, Hookshot up to the top. Use your Zora Mask to create a statue on the final switch. Now, a bridge will form. Cross it and start Hookshotting your way up to the very top, where an Owl Statue is waiting.
- 10From here, you can either continue into the Stone Temple or reset to the First Day to give yourself more time. Just know that this temple requires a lot of Arrows and Magic, and it's quite a maze.
- 11Before you enter the Stone Temple itself, you'll find three switches. Place statues on all of them using the Elegy of Emptiness to create the final platforms needed to enter.
Tips
- Make sure you have plenty of Arrows and Magic before attempting this temple. It's long and can be confusing!
- The Stone Mask makes dealing with Beamos much easier, so try to acquire it beforehand if possible.
- Don't forget to use the Elegy of Emptiness to create statues on the switches – they're key to progressing!
