This section covers various enemies encountered in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and provides strategies for defeating them.
Armos
These statues animate when approached. The ideal strategy is to throw a Bomb from a distance, then quickly get close enough for the enemy to activate and die from the explosion, but not so close that you are caught in it. Alternatively, wake one up, place a Bomb nearby, and maneuver so the Armos is close to the bomb when it detonates.
Bad Bat
Block these with your shield and retaliate quickly. If you can see them from afar, use your Hookshot, Bow, or Boomerang.
Beamos
This enemy primarily attacks with a laser beam. You can only counteract the laser with the Mirror Shield. The main method of defeating them is by detonating a Bomb near them.
Bio Deku Baba
These hanging Deku Babas primarily use lunging strikes. Attack them with Arrows from afar. Depending on their height, you might be able to stun them with the Boomerang and attack up close, or block their lunge with your shield and then strike.
Black Boe
These enemies often attack in hordes. A charged sword attack is usually sufficient.
Blue Bubble
If a Blue Bubble touches you, you will be cursed and unable to use your sword for a period. The Song of Storms can remove the curse more quickly. Keep your distance and attack with arrows, or avoid charging in. Attacking with a Light Arrow may yield a Purple Rupee (worth 50 Rupees).
Blue Chuchu
These are described as blobs of water and perform an easy-to-see lunge attack. Slice them up after they lunge.
Blue Tektite
These blue spiders are fast and can jump, but are generally just annoying. Approach and attack them with any available weapon.
Death Armos
These floating Armos animate and attempt to crush you from above. If they miss, they can die. Ideally, sneak near one using the Stone Mask, attack with a Light Arrow, and quickly move away from its lunge to cause its death.
Deep Python
Found primarily in Pinnacle Rock while rescuing Zora Eggs. While underwater with the Zora Mask, use your barrier attack (B+R) twice to defeat them.
Deku Baba
These plants lunge. Block their attack with your shield or dodge, then attack a couple of times. Taller versions may drop Deku Sticks.
Desbreko
Larger and stronger than Skullfish, these enemies pursue you. It's best to defeat them from afar using the Hookshot, Bow, or Zora Link's bubble attack.
