Complete Part 22 of The Settlers. Protect villages, donate resources, and defeat enemies to win the map.
Walkthrough
- 1Explore the western area for hunting, an iron mine, and a ruin containing 150 gold.
- 2To the north of your city, you will find a settlement to protect and a mercenary camp led by Kestral.
- 3During your travels before promotion, you will be directed to speak with the sheriff of Janisberg, who will only speak to you after your promotion.
- 4Discover two ruins due north at the top of the map, each containing 200 gold.
- 5Once ready for promotion, you will receive three quests to locate different villages. If you explored earlier, these are already completed.
- 6The sheriff of Janisberg will then ask you to speak with these villages, initiating new events. This is an opportune time to build up your settlement and complete upgrades, as no further progression will occur until current quests are finished.
- 7When ready to advance, visit each village to receive a new quest.
- 8The village of Monstien requires you to buy a flock of sheep. You cannot build a sheep farm until after purchasing the sheep, which is part of the quest.
- 9The village of Riedfort requests a donation of a battalion of bowmen. After their arrival, Riedfort will ask for 9 swords. Your bowmen will be returned shortly. Upon delivering the swords, you will receive 20 units of iron and the ability to purchase iron.
- 10The cloister of Castanna requires a donation of 9 brooms. After delivery, the cloister will send you some government cheese.
- 11Upon completing all three quests, a timed quest will begin. The bully is "collecting taxes" from Monstien. Position your troops near the village and await the enemy. If you lack troops, you can send 100 gold to Kestral for mercenary protection. You have 5 minutes to position troops and send money.
- 12After the attack, three more quests will appear: send 80 wood to Monstien for a wall, send 300 gold to the bully to halt his attack, or pay mercenaries to defend against a second attack.
- 13First, send the wood to Monstien to continue the story.
- 14You can choose to pay the taxes, pay the mercenaries, or defend the village yourself.
- 15Once Monstien's wall is built, the bully will send troops after your city. Recruit the maximum number of troops from the barracks to defend against these attacks.
- 16The bully will launch two waves of attacks. After the second wave fails, he will attempt to flee to the harbor in a horse-drawn cart.
- 17Catch the cart as it passes through Monstien to win the map.
Narfang Section:
Walkthrough
- 1Head north to Narlind, the land of the vikings, specifically Narfang.
- 2Your initial territory offers abundant fishing but lacks hunting. Expand to acquire clothes for promotion.
- 3The road north leads to game and stone. Expand here. Ignore the burning village.
- 4Further north along the road, you will find iron. Continue north to locate the village.
- 5To the west is an area with wild cows that can be claimed.
- 6Before reaching the village, build up your settlement as much as possible. Claim the stone, iron, and cow territories, and prepare your army.
- 7Go to the village in the north. You will be asked to achieve the rank of Baron, which should be completed if you built up your settlement.
- 8Next, you must destroy 21 enemy troops by attacking enemy territories with your archers.
- 9An ambassador knight is being held prisoner by Crimson Sabbat.
- 10Take your army and begin capturing enemy territories.
- 11North of the first enemy territory are wolves and ruins containing 200 gold.
- 12The next enemy territory to the west contains wild sheep.
- 13After capturing the third outpost, you will receive a new quest and a second herd of cattle when enemy buildings collapse.
- 14A new quest involves introducing a thief to infiltrate the enemy base and steal information from their storehouse. Approach enemy troops with caution. If the thief dies, another will be provided.

- The fleeing bully's cart passes through Monstien, making it a key location for capture.
- In Narfang, prioritize expansion for resources like game and stone.
- Claiming territories with wild cows and sheep can provide additional resources.
- Use archers effectively to destroy enemy troops.
- The thief can be used to steal information without direct confrontation.
