Master Part 25 of The Settlers: Rise of an Empire with our comprehensive guide. Learn strategies for wool clothes, fish, and siege engines on both standard and arid maps.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Begin by securing the storehouse for extra time. While producing wool clothes, mine iron and build up a full army of bowmen and swordmen, keeping them ready.
  2. 2
In winter, around February, build a beekeeper and a grain farm for honey (for taverns) and food.
  3. 3
The next challenge is obtaining 8 raw fish from an area guarded by Sabbat. You can either fight Sabbat for it or focus on the fourth challenge: sending 10 siege engine parts.
  4. 4
To send siege engine parts, you need to be promoted again, requiring 18 mead.
  5. 5
    Option A: Get the Fish
  6. 6
Let Sabbat establish an outpost near the fish territory (costing 1000 gold to expand to).
  7. 7
Wait for Sabbat to build the outpost, then capture it for free.
  8. 8
Defend the area with a large army to secure the 8 fish. Upgrading the outpost is recommended.
  9. 9
    Option B: Siege Engine Parts
  10. 10
If you cannot get the fish, focus on producing 10 siege engine parts.
  11. 11
This requires a promotion, which needs 18 mead.
  12. 12
Build taverns (2) for promotion and then a siege engine workshop.
  13. 13
    General Objectives Recap:
  14. 14
    Send 300 gold.
  15. 15
Clear wolves from the western village with your knight.
  16. 16
Collect 250 gold from ruins in the east/northeast.
  17. 17
    Get promoted to Sheriff.
  18. 18
Upgrade your castle and build your settlement. Start mining iron.
  19. 19
When dispatching gold, send your knight to the village, build a sheep farm with one pasture, buy 1 flock of sheep, and build a level 1 weaver.
  20. 20
Get promoted to Baron. Build a bow maker and sword maker.
  21. 21
Optionally, send a thief to Sabbat's storehouse via the west gate to avoid troops and gain time. Put your weaver on stockpile.
  22. 22
In winter (around February), build a Beekeeper and a grain farm.
  23. 23
By spring, you should have 8 wool and a sizable army. Send wool when the timer reaches 30 seconds.
  24. 24
After wool arrives, wait for Sabbat to set up an outpost near the fish and capture it.
  25. 25
Hold the outpost to get 8 fish. If you lose the fish quest, be ready with 10 siege engine parts.
  26. 26
During the siege engine quest, an optional side quest allows you to cause an avalanche to delay Sabbat's shipment.
  27. 27
    The final delivery marks victory.

Arid Map Variant:

  1. This map has no winter, perpetual harvesting, and honey, but limited fertile land and wood. Wild game migrates and can be overhunted.
  2. You have unlimited time to build your settlement before quests begin. Avoid stumbling upon villages.
  3. Your initial area has 1 hunting area and possibly 2 wood areas. Trees are the only fertile land. You cannot afford grain initially.
  4. After promoting to Sheriff, expand west for two hunting grounds, stone, and more wood/fertile ground. The east area has iron.
  5. Once you find all three villages, you'll receive a quest for 30 settlers (no strikers) and requests for water to be sent to each village. A fully upgraded storehouse provides 120 water.
  6. After delivering 3 shipments of water to the west village, a free fresh water supply is available, guarded by lions (wolves on arid maps). Kill the lions.
  7. The east village will ask for help digging wells. Send your knight to their territory and dispatch stone to dry wells (indicated by hand icons). You might strike water.
  8. To find water: send 10 stone to each of the four wells, then send 20 stone to one. A quarry south of the eastern village provides more stone.
