    Upon arriving in Flotsam, explore freely but hold off on the Main Quests "Indecent Proposal" and "The Kayran" due to missable achievements. Prioritize side quests for experience to reach Level 35 for the Guru Achievement.

    Access your storage via Dyson Beaver downstairs in the Flotsam Inn to offload crafting and alchemy components.

    Achievement #6 – Gambler: Win one Arm Wrestling match, one Dice Poker game, and one Fist Fight. All can be found at the Flotsam Inn.

    Achievement #7 – Poker: Roll a five-of-a-kind in Dice Poker. Save before attempting. This is best done early as opponents have handicaps later. Ensure the five-of-a-kind wins the match, not just appears.

    Achievement #8 – Craftsman: Hire a Craftsman to create an item. Find Berthold Candeleria in the North end of the Flotsam Nonhuman District. Crafting the Witcher’s Silver Sword is recommended; Silver Ore can be bought from him for 45 Orens.

    Monster Contract #1 – Nekker Contract & Monster Contract #2 – Endrega Contract: Pick these up from the Notice Board outside the Flotsam Inn.

    To progress these contracts, purchase "Nekkers In the Mist" (32 Orens) and "Three Years Among the Endegas" (64 Orens) from Einar Gausel in the Nonhuman District. Consider buying the Rotfiend book as well.

    Side Quest – Troll Trouble: Collect this contract from the Notice Board. For this playthrough, kill the Trolls.

    To destroy Nekker Nests, you need the Grapeshot Bomb formula. Speak with Cedric in Lobinden (outside Flotsam) during Main Quest – The Kayran. Purchase the formula for 70 Orens or 3 Grapeshots.

    Side Quest – In the Claws of Madness: Ask Cedric about Witcher work. This quest is tied to the Librarian Achievement for finding four books in the burned asylum.

    Achievement #9 – Apprentice: Brew five Potions or Oils using Alchemy. Collect your Alchemy Components from storage. Brew five Swallow Potions individually. Swallow requires Vitriol, Aether, and Caelum.

    If you lack components, Merchant Vilmos Bartok in the Flotsam Town Square should have them.
Tips
  • Hang on to at least two Talent Points for the Ricochet Achievement.
  • Complete as many Side Quests as possible for experience towards the Level 35 Guru Achievement.
  • Save frequently, especially before attempting the Poker Achievement.
  • If you are unlucky with Dice Poker, take breaks and do other quests.
  • For the "Troll Trouble" quest, this guide assumes you will kill the trolls, which is relevant for an achievement.
