Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weaknesses: Igni, bombs (especially Dancing Star).
• Resistances: None significant.
• Attacks: Fast swipes, lunging bites, a powerful charge.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Initial Engagement - The Rotfiend will use its standard attacks, testing your defenses.
2. Phase 2: Increased Aggression - After taking some damage, the Rotfiend becomes more aggressive, using its charge attack more frequently.
3. Phase 3: Desperation - Near death, the Rotfiend may enrage, becoming faster and more unpredictable.

Strategy:

• Dodge and Weave: The Rotfiend is fast, so prioritize dodging its attacks rather than blocking. Use the dodge roll for its charge attacks.
• Exploit Igni: The Igni sign is highly effective against the Rotfiend, stunning it and dealing damage over time. Use it whenever you have an opening.
• Bombs Away: Dancing Star bombs can also be very effective, especially when the Rotfiend is grouped up or charging.
• Target Weak Points: Aim for the Rotfiend's head or exposed flesh when it's stunned or recovering from an attack.
• Stay Mobile: Never let the Rotfiend corner you. Keep moving and create space to react to its attacks.
