Druids, Lumberjacks and Squirrels

Complete the Swamp Cave, Lumberjack Camp, and Druid Grove sections of The Witcher. Learn Quen, Yrden, and how to get the Dryads Sex Card.

Inside the Swamp Cave, loot Vran’s Sarcophagus and tap into the Circle of Hanging Stones to learn the Quen Sign. You may encounter Echinops, which grants 500 XP upon collection. After defeating a Wraith guarding Vran’s Sarcophagus, loot it for the Y’Esath Sephirah. Nearby, activate the Circle of Hanging Stones to obtain the Quen Sign. Giving the Gardener Echinops’ Rootstocks yields 2000 XP and 10 Orens.

Head northwest to the Lumberjack Camp. Talk to a Lumberjack who needs money to care for his sick children. You can buy items from him for 200 Orens, or negotiate down to 150 Orens. In return, you receive a Red Meteorite (worth 300 Orens), Sodden Mead (10 Orens), a Silver Ring (80 Orens), and a recipe for Wive’s Tears.

Talk to Yaren Bolt and accept the quest “Flowers and Gold,” requiring you to collect five Beggartick flowers, found near the Nonhuman Camp. Learning about the Beggartick plant from locals grants experience.

Head to the Druid Grove. Touching the Circle of Unwanted Power grants the Yrden Sign. Asking the Druids about the Beggartick Blossom gives 100 XP. Speaking to Morenn about the missing boy yields 500 XP. To gain her favor, provide a Wolf Pelt. After a dialogue choice, you will obtain the “Dryads” Sex Card.

If you have completed “The Drowned Dead Contract,” speak to Yaevinn. Accepting his work starts the quest “Worth its Weight in Gold,” which involves delivering a letter to Dwarf Vivaldi in Vizima.
