Return to the Hairy Bear and speak with the Gambler. He will tell you he won the Silver Sword from the Gardener at the Hospital. You will receive 250 XP.

While at the Hairy Bear, speak with Ramsmeat (if it's late enough) and ask him about Berengar. He will tell you that the items were found by the Brickmakers in the swamp, who sold them to Coleman. You will receive 3500 XP.

Go to the Hospital and speak with the Gardener. If you ask about his mercenary days, you may need to give him food. You can also trade food for Red Roses. If you ask about the Silver Sword, he will tell you he obtained it from a fallen Witcher named Coen at the Battle of Brenna and suggest you speak with Shani. You can also play dice with him. You will receive 250 XP.

Head to the Hospital to progress the quests “Vizima Confidential” and “The Crown Witness”. You can enter during the day, but must return at night to speak with the Prisoner. You can gain entry by snubbing Siegfried, bribing a guard, or using the “City Guard Signet Ring”.

Inside the Hospital, speak with Shani. She will start the quest “Old Friend of Mine”. Ask how you can help her, and she will ask for five units of Celandine. Give her the Celandine to update the quest “Old Friend of Mine”. You will receive 500 XP.

Speak with Shani again and wait until night. Once you wake up, approach the Prisoner. The Guards will stop you; bribe them for 10 Orens to gain access. The Prisoner will reveal the name “Kalkstein” before Ramsmeat’s thugs attack. Defeat the thugs and leave the Hospital.
