Guide to The Witcher's Epilogue: Navigate political fallout with King Foltest, confront Order knights and mutants, and witness resolutions for various NPCs in Vizima.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon arriving by boat, Dandelion will engage in conversation. Siegfried will advocate for speaking with King Foltest to mitigate damage to the Order's reputation, while Yaevinn will propose an alliance with the king, leveraging Scoia'tael control over Old Vizima. Triss will urge Dandelion onward. This initiates the quest “The Ashes of Vizima”.
- 2Speak with King Foltest, who is discussing politics with Radovid. You will inform Foltest about the fate of his daughter, Adda.
- 3If you sided with the Order: Geralt defends the Order. Foltest reduces the scope of his purge and appoints Siegfried as the new Grand Master of the Order of the Flaming Rose.
- 4If you sided with the Scoia’tael: Geralt blames the Order. Foltest and Yaevinn reach a truce, with a temporary amnesty allowing Yaevinn to escape. The nonhuman issue remains unresolved.
- 5If you remained neutral: Triss negotiates a position in Foltest’s court, reconciling the Lodge of Sorceresses with Temeria due to Geralt's success.
- 6If you slew Adda: Foltest is resigned; Radovid is angry.
- 7If you saved Adda: The two northern kingdoms unite.
- 8Geralt accepts the task of killing the Grand Master for 8000 Orens, completing the quest ‘Her Highness the Striga’ and updating “The Ashes of Vizima” and “Witchers’ Secrets”.
- 9Head west to find Dandelion. This is your final opportunity to visit your stash. Ensure you have necessary potions, swords, and armor. Your companion for the Epilogue will be Triss (neutral), Siegfried (Order-aligned), or Yaevinn (Scoia’tael-aligned).
- 10Proceed north along the road behind St. Lebioda’s Hospital. At the east-west road to the market, you will encounter knights of the Order and mutants.
- 11If you sided with the Order: Siegfried expresses doubt about fighting his brothers but proceeds. He condemns the Grand Master.
- 12If you were neutral or sided with the Scoia’tael: Siegfried leads the group. If you sided with the Scoia’tael, a fight is unavoidable. If neutral, you can choose to fight (option #1) or avoid conflict (option #2).
- 13Head west to find a refugee who invites you into a house. Inside, you will find various NPCs for narrative resolution.
- 14You will encounter the Resolute Girl from Murky Waters, a Novice Nun discussing Carmen and Vincent. The Hermit from the fields outside Murky Waters will speak of the Wild Hunt. Vaska will offer swamp-related dialogue, and Golan Vivaldi will react based on the outcome of “Gold Rush”. The Reverend may be present if not killed in Chapter 1.
- 15Talk to the refugee who invited you in; they will reveal a way to access other houses through the basement. Loot a barrel for alcohol.
- 16In the cellar, you may find Vetala if he was spared. Loot a crate containing alcohol, Alchemist’s Powder, the book “Zeugl Vigor”, and a Key. It also contains the book “Ithlinne’s Prophecy”.
- 17Proceed through a door into another cellar. Defeat undead enemies (a Bruxa and two wraiths) and ascend stairs to another house. Loot a crate for Flint and speak to the resident madman, who suggests exiting through the window.
