Hey there! So, you've got a bunch of boxes and need to figure out where everything goes, especially when it comes to bookshelves and storage. Don't worry, it's one of the most satisfying parts of Unpacking! We'll walk through how to tackle these items and make sure everything fits just right.

The main goal in Unpacking is to empty all the boxes. You'll use simple point-and-click controls. Clicking a box opens it, and clicking an item inside lets you pick it up. You then need to place that item somewhere in the room. As you take items out, the paper lining the box will disappear, and once it's all gone and the box is empty, one last click will make the box vanish.

Most rooms will have multiple boxes to unpack. If you're finding it tough to place items, remember you can turn on an accessibility option called "Allow items anywhere." This lets you drop items anywhere, no matter how messy it looks! Aesthetics aren't the point here, so don't stress about making it look perfect unless you really want to.

When you pick up an item, it usually auto-rotates to fit where you're pointing. If you need to rotate it manually, just press the [B] button. Sometimes, you'll need to press [B] again while holding an item or hovering over it to interact with it for certain achievements. Some items can be stacked, others can go on walls or hang on clothes hangers. If you're running out of space, you can carry an item to a different room using [LB] or [RB]. Most rooms also scroll up and down, so don't forget to check those areas for extra space!

A special shout-out to clothes hangers: you'll get quite a few in later levels, and they can take up a lot of room. It's a good idea to hang them up in wardrobes to keep them out of the way.
