The Fog King

Back in Gran Dell, you have a new objective to track down Ether concentrations. Before that, several new Quests are available in Gran Dell, near Cragmaw Caverns, and the Old Expedition HQ. Accept and complete these quests.

Hook, Line and Sinker: Speak to Vredda near the Grand Arch in Gran Dell. Collect 3 Snare Wires and 3 Half Parts from Bionis’ Shoulder. Return them to Vredda, who gives you the Katchafish DX. Give this to Bartholomew on the bridge near Heroes’ Rest, south of Prayer Rock.

Rival Hearts: After witnessing events at Teelan’s Laboratory, speak to Ardred near the Gran Dell Approach. Find Qarz near the Grand Arch to make a ring for Winnie. Qarz needs 1 Brightite, found near the entrance to Zekr Marga Quarry in the Forbidden Hushland. Return the Brightite to Qarz, then give the completed ring to Ardred.

Steady on, Grandad!: With Shulk as party lead, speak to Miles between Gran Dell Approach and Grand Arch. Collect a First-Aid Kit from the Junks. The kit is missing; find Sorthas in a tunnel south in Nerthis Necropolis. He will return the kit. Return it to Miles in Gran Dell.

Sorrow: Nestinor wants flowers placed at a grave at Heroes’ Rest. Collect 3 Dawn Smiles from Lamentation Ridge. Fast travel to Xen’s Thoroughfare and walk north to the ramp to the ridge. The flowers are at the end, guarded by 3 Kromar enemies. Take the flowers to Nestinor near a grave at Heroes’ Rest.

Shoulder Survey Snaps: With Shulk as party lead, speak to Melekanze near the Old Expedition HQ, east of Quarry Colonnade. Take a photo of a Glow Deinos in the Forbidden Hushland and a Dozy Eluca near Abaasy’s Dorsum. A cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) triggers when in range. Return to Melekanze.

Secure the Area: Find Mithril on the banks near the Junks. Defeat 3 Glamouring Paguls on the south shore from the Junks. Return to Mithril.

Brace for Friendship: After completing Sorrow, speak to Angela with Kino as party leader. Collect 5 Elastic Ivy from near Thulles Way. Return them to Angela. Then, collect 5 Sparkle Stones from near the rocks by the lake at Junks. Return them to Angela.

After completing these quests, head to the Gran Dell Approach Landmark and speak with the Gran Dell Militia. Speak to the High Entia stationed on the wall near the tower housing the Giants’ Trove. Then, go to Sarja near Heroes’ Rest. Return to Radzam at Gran Arch with your findings.

Make your way to the Zekr Marga Quarry. If you have been here before, head to Marga’s Weeping Landmark. If not, take the path northwest from Thulles Way Landmark and follow the lower part of Bionis’ Shoulder west. At Quarry Colonnade, head inside and take the southern stairs around the western edge to avoid a large group of enemies.
