Master the 'Oh, Brother!' Time Attack challenge in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. Learn Melia's best strategies for each wave and secure your rewards.

Alright, so you've stumbled upon the 'Oh, Brother!' challenge in Time Attack Mode. Don't let the name fool you, this one's all about Melia and her unique abilities. It's a solid 2/4 difficulty, so it's not a cakewalk, but totally doable once you get the hang of it. You'll be aiming for an A+ Rank, so speed and efficiency are key!

Walkthrough
  1. 1

Wave 1: You're in control of Melia here, and your success really hinges on how comfortable you are with her. Your main goal is to keep one Summon Bolt active at all times. This gives you a sweet Ether Up buff, which you can then boost further with Summon Copy. For attacking, use Flare and Wind to deal with groups of enemies. Seriously, avoid Aqua and Shadow Stitch – they're not your friends in this fight. Your opponents are a Lv 47 Barbaro Igna and a Lv 47 Mistol Igna. They should go down pretty fast, but keep an eye on Riki; if he gets knocked out, make sure to wake him up before he uses Bedtime!

  2. 2

Wave 2: This wave throws more enemies at you. Get ready to face three Lv 43 Guard Ignas and four Lv 43 Maleza Ignas. Like before, your Arts that hit multiple targets are going to be your best friends. Keep that Summon Bolt buff going, and then unleash Flare and Wind on the whole group. If your Talent Gauge fills up, don't hesitate to use Mind Blast on everyone. It's a great way to rack up damage quickly.

  3. 3

Wave 3: The final wave pits you against a Lv 47 Fighter Igna, a Lv 47 Otol Kamar, and another Lv 49 Otol Kamar. Your absolute top priority here is to focus all your damage on the Otol Kamars. If they manage to use Arts Seal on your party, say goodbye to your chances of getting an A+ Rank. Just like in the previous waves, keep Summon Bolt active and use your other damaging Arts to pile on the pain. Remember, Chain Attacks can eat up a lot of precious time, so only use them if you absolutely have to.

Tips
  • Always keep Summon Bolt active for the Ether Up buff.
  • Use Summon Copy after Summon Bolt for an extra boost.
  • Flare and Wind are your go-to Arts for hitting multiple enemies.
  • Avoid Aqua and Shadow Stitch unless you have a very specific reason.
  • Keep an eye on Riki and wake him up if he's down.
  • Use Mind Blast when your Talent Gauge is full in Wave 2.
  • Focus the Otol Kamars in Wave 3 to prevent Arts Seal.
  • Chain Attacks should be a last resort due to the time they consume.
