The Abyssal Leviathan is a massive, bio-mechanical creature encountered at the end of Chapter 3. This fight takes place entirely underwater, requiring you to adapt your combat style.

Phases & Attacks:

• Phase 1 (100%-60% HP):
  • Sonic Roar: Emits a powerful sonic wave that pushes Cero back and deals damage. Hide behind debris or use a 'Shield Matrix Module'.
  • Tentacle Slam: Slams one of its massive tentacles down. Look for the shadow and dodge away.
  • Bio-Spit: Spits corrosive projectiles. These are slow; dodge sideways.
• Phase 2 (60%-0% HP): The Leviathan becomes more aggressive, and the arena introduces crushing currents.
  • Whirlpool Vortex: Creates a powerful whirlpool that pulls Cero in. Swim against the current or use 'Grapple Hook' points to escape.
  • Dual Tentacle Sweep: Sweeps two tentacles across the arena. Requires precise dodging or swimming over/under.
  • Corrosive Cloud: Releases a cloud of corrosive gas that lingers. Avoid at all costs.

Weaknesses & Strategy:

The Leviathan is weak to 'Plasma' damage. Your 'Pulse Rifle' is your primary weapon here; aim for its glowing 'Bio-Nodes' on its head and tentacles. These nodes are only exposed after certain attacks. Use the 'Chronos Module' to slow down its tentacle attacks, giving you more time to target the nodes. During the Whirlpool Vortex, prioritize survival over damage. The 'EMP Burst Module' can briefly stun the Leviathan, creating a window for sustained damage. Reward: 'Leviathan Bio-Core', unlocks 'Aquatic Mobility Module' and 'Plasma Rifle' schematics.
