Walkthrough: Road to the Sewer Confluence

After the introductory cutscene, you begin in Sewer Town - Southwest. Follow the corridor to find the Rusty Longsword and defeat your first enemies. Grab Mud Ball x3 from next to a corpse. After defeating another enemy, jump down and turn left to find a Void Beast and Pure Crystal x3. The Void Beast is a tough early enemy; use dodging and attack from behind, being wary of its tail swipe. Master this fight by attacking in short bursts and retreating. Defeating it rewards you with Luminous Carbon x1.

Kill the enemy opposite the Void Beast's cell, grab Crystallized Remains x1, and proceed to learn about Weapon Skills. Defeat the two enemies, pick up Mud Ball x2, and continue down the corridor for a third Mud Ball. Dispatch the next enemy and grab Crystallized Remains x1 from a corpse. In the next room, backstab an enemy as per the tutorial and grab Mini Bomb x3. Advance to face an enemy that throws rocks; rush it while dodging or use a Mini Bomb. Clear the next room, collecting Stone x5 and the Old Notepad. You will then encounter a fast Sewer Cleaner, requiring significant dodging.
