Road to the Sewer Confluence

After the introductory cutscene, you'll begin in Sewer Town - Southwest. Follow the corridor to find the Rusty Longsword and use it to defeat your first enemies. Proceed upstairs to collect 3 Mud Balls near a corpse. After defeating the next enemy, jump down and turn left to find a Void Beast and 3 Pure Crystals. The Void Beast is a challenging early-game foe; utilize well-timed dodges and aim for its back, being prepared for its tail swipe. Master this fight by attacking in short bursts and retreating. Upon defeating it, you will be rewarded with 1 Luminous Carbon. Kill the enemy opposite the Void Beast's cell, collect 1 Crystallized Remains, and move to the next area where you'll learn about Weapon Skills. Defeat the two enemies, pick up 2 Mud Balls, and continue down the corridor to find a third. Defeat it and collect 1 Crystallized Remains from a nearby corpse. In the next room, two more enemies await. Backstab an enemy as per the tutorial and collect 3 Mini Bombs before advancing. The next enemy will throw rocks; rush it while dodging or use a Mini Bomb from a distance. Clear the next room, collecting 5 Stones and the Old Notepad. As you enter the next area, you will encounter a Sewer Cleaner, a surprisingly fast enemy that requires significant dodging to avoid.
