AI Limit features multiple endings, each reflecting the choices and discoveries made throughout your journey as Arise. Unlocking all endings provides a deeper understanding of the world, its history, and Arise's true purpose. This guide will walk you through the specific steps and prerequisites for achieving each distinct conclusion.

The Standard Ending: "Echoes of the Past"

This is the most common ending and is achieved by simply completing the main storyline without fulfilling the specific requirements for any other ending. It offers a conclusive, yet somewhat ambiguous, resolution to Arise's immediate quest.

• Prerequisites: None beyond completing the main narrative.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Progress through all main story quests, defeating all primary bosses up to and including the final boss, The Architect, in the Core Chamber of the Old City.
  2. Do not collect all Memory Fragments.
  3. Do not complete all side quests related to the Ancient Archives.
  4. Do not interact with the hidden terminals in the Forgotten Sector more than once.
• Key Moments: The final confrontation with The Architect, followed by a cinematic sequence depicting the immediate aftermath of your victory and Arise's uncertain future.

The True Ending: "Rebirth Protocol"

This ending provides the most comprehensive and satisfying conclusion, revealing critical lore and the ultimate fate of humanity. It requires diligent exploration and completion of specific side objectives.

• Prerequisites:
  • Collect all Memory Fragments (12 total). These are scattered throughout various regions.
  • Complete the side quest chain "Whispers of the Ancients."
  • Access the hidden data logs in the Ancient Archives.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Memory Fragment Collection:
     • Fragment 1: Found in the Collapsed Highway, near the crashed transport.
     • Fragment 2: Located in the Flooded District, accessible after draining the central plaza.
     • Fragment 3: Reward for defeating the optional boss, The Corrupted Guardian, in the Underground Research Facility.
     • Fragments 4-6: Discovered within the Ancient Archives. Two are in the main data chambers, one is hidden behind a destructible wall in the lower levels.
     • Fragment 7: In the Sky-Piercing Spire, on an upper platform accessible via a complex jump puzzle.
     • Fragment 8: Dropped by the mini-boss Automaton Sentinel in the Forgotten Sector.
     • Fragment 9: Found in the Bio-Dome Conservatory, behind a locked door requiring the Bio-Keycard Alpha (found in the adjacent lab).

     • Locate and interact with all three glowing Data Terminals within the Archives. One is in the main hall, one in the restricted section (requires Archivist's Passkey from a defeated Archivist Drone), and the final one is the Prime Terminal in the deepest chamber.
  4. After fulfilling all prerequisites, proceed to defeat The Architect in the Core Chamber of the Old City. The ending cinematic will be significantly different, revealing a more complete narrative.
• Strategy for The Architect (True Ending Path): The fight itself doesn't change, but having all the lore from the Memory Fragments and Data Logs will provide context to the Architect's motivations and dialogue. This elusive ending hints at a cyclical nature of events and requires a very specific, non-obvious sequence of actions. It can be easily missed if you're not actively looking for it.

• Prerequisites:
  • Do NOT collect more than 3 Memory Fragments.
  • Do NOT complete the "Whispers of the Ancients" questline.
  • Activate the Forgotten Sector's Hidden Terminal exactly three times.
  • Defeat The Architect while having less than 25% health remaining.
• Walkthrough:
  1. Limited Memory Fragments: Intentionally avoid collecting most Memory Fragments. Focus only on essential story progression.
  2. Ignore "Whispers of the Ancients": Do not pick up the Damaged Data Pad in the Flooded District, or if you do, simply do not pursue the quest.
  3. Forgotten Sector's Hidden Terminal:
     • Locate the Forgotten Sector, accessible via a hidden path in the Wasteland Perimeter.
     • Find the glowing, inactive terminal tucked away behind some debris in the central cavern.
     • Interact with it exactly three times. Each interaction will trigger a brief, cryptic message. Do not interact a fourth time, as this will lock you out of this ending.
  4. The Architect's Final Stand:
     • Engage The Architect in the Core Chamber of the Old City.
     • During the final phase of the fight, intentionally allow your health to drop below 25%. This can be risky, so ensure you have a few Basic Repair Kits to prevent outright death, but avoid healing above the threshold.
     • Deliver the final blow while your health is critically low.
  5. If all conditions are met, a unique, unsettling cinematic will play after The Architect's defeat, hinting at a continuation rather than a resolution.

Consider equipping defensive modules like the Adaptive Shielding Unit to absorb some damage, but rely on precise dodging and well-timed attacks to finish the boss while maintaining low health.
