The mission begins with the GLA attacking a Chinese outpost. Focus on dealing with the initial Chinese units. Bomb Trucks are effective against Red Guard squads; alternatively, use a Technical to run them over if you plan to use the Bomb Trucks on the dam later. Destroy the Chinese structures.

After the initial attack, your forces will return to the GLA hideout, and new objectives will be revealed.

Objective: Find the secret Arms Dealer. This dealer is located south of the hideout, on a ridge in the southwest corner of the map. They sell Scorpion Rockets, which are unavailable to regular GLA units.

Objective: Destroy the Speaker Tower in the village. This tower spreads Chinese propaganda. Head north to find the village and destroy the tower. After its destruction, GLA infantry will emerge from nearby buildings.

Objective: Break the Dam. The dam is located in the opposite corner of the map from the hideout. Before reaching it, you may encounter a Chinese Supply Centre blocking access to valuable supplies. Destroy the Supply Centre and its resistance, then collect the resources.

Proceed north and invade the Chinese Base. Capture any structures you can.

Advance up the ridge, eliminating enemy units. Destroy the dam at the top. The resulting flood will dispatch a large number of Chinese units.

Be aware of a large group of Elite Technicals in the southeastern corner, but note that the bridge leading to them is heavily guarded by BattleMasters.
